British sportscar racer Robbie Kerr will return to the G-Drive/Delta-ADR LMP2 squad for next month's round of the World Endurance Championship at Interlagos.
The 33-year-old Briton, who raced for the team as ADR-Delta in the opening two rounds of last year's WEC, will join Tor Graves and James Walker in one of the squad's pair of ORECA-Nissan 03s on a one-off basis at the Brazilian event on September 1.
Team manager Simon Dowson said: "We have found a bit of sponsorship, so that allowed us to choose our driver.
"Robbie's relationship with Tor is strong, and he knows the car and the team from last year, so it made sense to put him in for Brazil.
"He is very much a known quantity, which we needed because there will be no chance to test the car before free practice at Interlagos."
Kerr, British Formula 3 Champion in 2002, said: "It's great to be back in the WEC. The G-Drive/Delta-ADR team has been strong all year, so I am sure we can push for victory in Brazil."
The seat vacated by Kerr after Interlagos will be filled for the US round at Austin in September by Mexican Rudy Junco.
The 34-year-old, who raced in Indy Lights in 2001, ended a 10-year hiatus from the professional racing ranks in 2010 and took two LMPC class victories in the American Le Mans Series over the 2011 and '12 seasons.
The #25 G-Drive ORECA will carry sponsorship from US tuning house Hennessey Performance for the Interlagos and Austin WEC races. Delta builds the rolling chassis for its Venom GT supercar.
Shinji Nakano, who raced the car at the Le Mans 24 Hours, will return for his home race at Fuji in October. The team has yet to find a team-mate or team-mates for Graves and Walker for the final two WEC races at the Shanghai and Bahrain circuits.
G-Drive's appeal against the exclusion of its #26 from third in class at the Le Mans 24 Hours in June is due to be heard by the FIA International Court of Appeal on September 10.
