Lucas Luhr takes Mid-Ohio American Le Mans Series pole for Pickett Racing

American Le Mans Series LMP1 leaders Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf continued their spectacular recent run by claiming pole position for this weekend's Mid-Ohio round

Luhr took their Pickett Racing HPD around the Lexington track in 1m11.019s, six tenths of a second quicker than Chris Dyson's Dyson Lola-Mazda.

Level 5 was on top in LMP2 with Christophe Bouchut, while PR1/Mathiasen's Marino Franchitti edged out RSR's Bruno Junqueira in LMPC.

GT saw a typically intense pole battle, won by Jorg Muller's BMW. The German was just 0.031s faster than Guy Cosmo's Extreme Speed Ferrari, as 0.456s covered seven cars. Damien Faulkner gave Green Hornet another GTC pole.
