4h44m Davidson comes in to hand the leading #1 Peugeot to Alex Wurz
4h46m Minassian has also taken the keys to the #2 908
4h47m Highcroft will be looking to make its move for the LMP2 class lead now that Leventis is in the Strakka car. Werner is 1m45s behind and closing at 6s per lap.... you do the maths
4h48m Paul Drayson is reporting fumes inside his Lola and is heading back to the pits to have it checked out
4h51m Capello is running eighth in the #7 Audi, three laps off the lead and one minute behind the #009 Aston Martin
4h53m Wild moment for Andrea Belicchi as he locks up and throws the #13 Rebellion across the kerbs at the first Mulsanne chicane
4h54m The Racing Box team seem to have given up working on their Lola. It's just sitting, abandoned, in its garage
4h57m Alex Wurz has stretched the #1 car's lead out the 11 seconds. That's the biggest it's been for a while
4h58m Still only two and a half seconds between the #64 Corvette and the #82 Ferrari at the head of GT2. That one's going to rage all night...
5h01m There are only two GT1 cars left ahead of the leading GT2 pack. Grosjean's Ford is 90s clear of the Alphand Corvette
5h02m The Young Driver Aston Martin is back out after losing 13 laps to a broken driveshaft. Christoffer Nygaard is at the controls
5h06m Werner in the Highcroft car is now 1m36s behind Leventis in the Strakka and lapping 8-10s quicker each time around
5h07m Duval is pressing on again in the ORECA Peugeot, lapping quicker than both factory cars and is now just 15s behind Sarrazin
5h08m Kaffer has grabbed the lead of GT2 back for Risi, but it's going to be nip and tuck with Corvettes when the pitstops shake out
5h13m The #61 Matech Ford GT just went up in flames. Poor Natacha Gachnang parked it with the driver's door up against the barrier and had to jump out of the far door, still suffering from the broken leg she suffered earlier this season
5h15m Kaffer has held onto the GT2 lead, but is just half a second ahead of the #64 Corvette
5h17m A medical car has just arrived at the scene to make sure Gachnang is okay after that scary moment with the #61 Matech Ford GT.
5h18m The Ferrari and Corvette are still at it hammer and tongs as they sweep through the Porsche curves to complete another lap. The gap is around one second.
5h19m Pierre Kaffer has managed to extend the lead to almost two seconds as the GT2 lead battle rages. Replays show that Collard ran a touch wide through the Porsche curves on the last lap.
5h21m The #9 Audi pits and Romain Dumas hands over to Mike Rockenfeller. After a slight delay he is away and back into the fight.
5h23m The #79 BMW 'Art car' has pulled off to the side of the road. Andy Priaulx is behind the wheel but it really has been a difficult day for the team.
5h24m And we have the #6 AIM Team Oreca off the road at Arnage. Andy Meyrick looked like he was struggling to slow down for the right-hander and went straight on.
5h24m Meyrick was able to get the car pushed backwards by the marshals and he rejoins the action.
5h26m Andy Meyrick brings the #6 Oreca AIM into the pits and he hands over to Soheil Ayari. He rejoins still in 12th place overall.
5h27m Audi makes its feelings clear about the #79 BMW: "Its time for the BMW art car to call it a day...4th time limping off the track"
5h29m At the front, the #1 Peugeot now has a lead of 25 seconds over the #2 machine. The Team Oreca Matmut #4 entry is over two minutes behind in third.
5h30m Into the pits comes Alex Wurz in the leading #1 car. Routine service and the Austrian will stay on board. He gets away after a clean stop.
5h33m In GT1, the #60 Matech Competition Ford GT enjoys a slight advantage over the #73 Luc Alphand Corvette.
5h36m The #13 Rebellion Racing Lola comes into the pits and is being wheeled into the garage.
5h37m The engine cover is missing from the car. The mechanics are getting ready to fit a fresh one so that it can go back out.
5h39m Andrea Belicchi has the #13 in tenth place overall but as the work continues, so this car slips down the classification.
5h41m Out of view, the GT2 lead battle continues to rage, with Pierre Kaffer only 0.5 seconds ahead of Emmanuele Collard. Meantime, the #13 is fixed and rolls back into the action.
5h42m Collard closes the gap even more and is now challenging for the lead, but Kaffer in the #82 Risi Competizione Ferrari holds him off.
5h44m RML reports a painful moment for one of its men in the pits: "Mechanic Adam Hughes was injured in the last stop, no car contact just a knee failure! With medics now having treatment, will be fine soon."
5h45m The #26 Highcroft racing entry has been into the pits. Marco Werner stays in the car but the lead in LMP2 has been handed back to the #42 Strakka Racing HPD.
5h47m The #82 Ferrari and the #64 Corvette pass the pits another time with the gap unchanged. This battle for the lead in GT2 is certainly living up to the billing.
5h50m The #42 Strakka Racing entry leading in LM P2 is due in the pits any time soon. The Highcroft #26 is only 13 seconds behind.
5h51m The safety car has been deployed.
5h52m The #92 JMW Motorsport car has pulled off to the side of the track.
5h54m Bryce Miller was at the wheel of the #92 and he climbs out. The car doesn't look badly damage but we understand it has indeed crashed.
