20h43m Jean Alesi pits in the #95 AF Corse Ferrari 430, which is currently running fourth. The team has been giving its driver double stints throughout the race, so expect this to be Alesi's last stint - he'll have his sights set on the #97 Porsche 997 which is four laps ahead now.
20h43m Lotterer tried to defend on the inside but he couldn't hold off the charging Peugeot.
20h44m However, the #1 is due a stop and Wurz is in for a tank of diesel.
20h45m Pit stop now for the #37 WR Zytek, which is currently running in eighth in the GT2 class.
20h46m The leading #9 car was also in for a stop on that lap and resumes well clear of the fight over second between the #8 Audi and #1 Peugeot.
20h48m Slow lap for Matthieu Lahaye in the #35 OAK Pescarolo-Judd, and he's lost around seven seconds to the third-placed #25 RML Lola HPD, which is one lap down the road.
20h50m Wurz is now clocked 53 seconds behind the #8 Audi after that recent stop for the former. Lotterer in the Audi was refuelled at that stop to repair the damage of his off at Arnarge and will have a few laps to run until his next stop.
20h51m Wolf Henzler in the #77 Felbermayr Porsche 997 continues to extend his lead in the GT2 standings, lapping around two seconds faster than his rivals.
20h54m Great shots of Henzler really pushing as his 997 clatters over the kerbs - he's driving really well at the moment and is now three laps clear of the nearest GT2 car, that of the #89 Hankook Ferrari 430.
20h58m Mixed fortunes for the Felbermayr team - while Henzler leads in GT2, Horst Felbermayr Jr is in the pits in the #88 Porsche 997, currently eighth of the nine remaining class runners.
20h59m The #15 Kolles Audi R10 is in trouble again in the hands of Oliver Jarvis. He's pulled to the side of the road at the kink between Arnarge and Indianapolis.
21h01m Tommy Erdos pits for the #25 RML Lola HPD squad, and a slick stop hasn't done any harm to the team's chances of hunting down the #35 Pescarolo Judd currently being driven by Matthieu Lahaye.
21h01m This looks to be a technical problem for the #15 and it doesn't look good for the seventh-placed car.
21h02m The Kolles machine is behind the barrier as Jarvis works out if there is any way to recover it back to the pits.
21h03m Wurz continues to press on in the #1 car, clocking a 3m20s lap. The Austrian will hand over to Marc Gene at the next stop for the charge to the finish.
21h04m Leading petrol contender, the #009 Lola Aston-Martin, is in for regular service. Darren Turner has been rapid at the wheel of that machine this morning, which is sixth overall.
21h05m Now the #35 Pescarolo-Judd heads into the pitlane. It looks like Jonny Kane in the lead #42 Strakka HPD is out of sight at least for the moment, so the team needs to ensure it keeps ahead of the #25 Lola RML.
21h06m Wurz in the #1 is now only 43 seconds behind the #8 Audi, which should be in the pits fairly soon.
21h07m Slick driver change by the #35 OAK Racing squad, and Guillaum Moreau replaces Lahaye at the wheel of the Pescarolo-Judd.
21h08m Mike Rockenfeller continues to lead around a lap clear of that pair but certainly can't afford any delay in this fast-paced run to the finish.
21h10m Meanwhile, the #4 Oreca Peugeot is chasing the #7 Audi driven by Tom Kristensen and the gap between fourth and fifth is now 51 seconds.
21h11m Finally, after around an hour in the pits, Marino Franchitti is back out on track in the #26 Highcroft Racing HPD. The team was running second before an extended delay due to problems with the cooling system, but now find themselves in sixth, four laps down the road from the fifth-placed #41 Ginetta-Zytek.
21h12m And now the #26 HPD is back in the pitlane. Really cruel spell this for the Highcroft team.
21h17m Toni Vilander in the #95 Ferrari 430 lapping at a very competitive 4m00.645s, as the squad bids to make up for a technical fault that caused Fisichella to run straight on at Indianapolis, causing significant damage to the front of the car.
21h19m AUTOSPORT pitlane reporters reveal the #26 Highcroft HPD is still suffering from fluid leaking from the head. The team really are just trying to get the car to the finish now.
21h19m The #8 Audi is in for its stop. Wurz flashes across the line and takes away second place with the gap to the now-stationary car clocked at 25 seconds last time by.
21h22m Toni Vilander in the #95 Ferrari 430 still around two seconds a lap faster than anyone else in the GT2 field, although he still has a long way to go in order to secure a podium - the #97 Porsche 997 is nine laps down the road.
21h22m Wurz, now second in the #1, has a few laps to run until his stop but will be pushing on to try and secure an advantage over the #8 Audi.
21h23m At the current rate of progress, #1 is on course to secure second place by the flag but it doesn't have enough pace in hand to catch the leading Audi unless it hits trouble.
21h24m The #97 Porsche 997 comes into the pitlane now, Timo Scheider behind the wheel. As the car exits the #40 Ginetta-Zytek comes into the pits.
21h26m The leader is in for service with Mike Rockenfeller staying in control of the #9. Wurz is also in with the #1.
21h26m Busy spell in the pitlane now, with the fourth-placed #24 Pescarolo-Judd coming in for a stop. Jacques Nicolet guides the car out onto circuit after a polished stop - the pit crews really have been exceptional this year, some great changes.
21h28m The lead pair is down and away and that is a measure of the gap - just over one lap between Audi #9 and Peugeot #1.
21h29m Wurz in #1 is closing quickly on the Audi, who finds traffic in the form of the #4 Peugeot. This will be Wurz trying to unlap himself in a straight fight, with the cars on similar pitstop patterns.
21h29m Richard Westbrook now out in the #97 BMS Porsche 997, and he joins in a rather quiet third in class - with comfortable distances to the second and fourth-placed cars.
21h31m Fighting talk from the #78 BMW squad, who are hoping Jorg Muller can mount something of a comeback after 30 minutes of delays.
21h32m Richard Westbrook pits again in the #97 Porsche 997, moments after stepping into the car...
21h33m The AUTOSPORT team in the pits report that it's all over for the #15 Kolles Audi, which stopped on the circuit in the last hour. It is shown in eighth overall at the moment but has been retired by the team.
21h35m Could this be the chance the #95 AF Corse squad have been waiting for - the #97 Porsche 997 is still in the pits and may have a problem. Seven laps separate the two cars.
21h36m Wurz is back to third overall after that pitstop on the same lap as the leader but is now just over 15 seconds behind Lotterer in the #8
