6h28m Up front, Alex Wurz is restoring for Peugeot what fate took away from the #8 car a short time ago. The Austrian in the #9 is comfortably pulling away from the two chasing Audis.

Tom Kristensen is 87 seconds behind Wurz in the #1 car, with Lucas Luhr a further two seconds adrift in third place in the #2.

The 008# Aston Martin is enjoying a great outing, currently in the hands of Anthony Davidson. He runs fourth with the Pescarolo Peugeot in fifth spot.
6h26m Emmanuel Collard now leads in LMP2 as Sascha Maassen heads out to resume an excellent scrap for class honours.
6h25m It is a driver change to Sascha Maassen for Team Goh, which will hand the lead to Team Essex.

Patrick Long is back behind the wheel of the fourth-placed IMSA Performance Porsche. He is running two seconds per lap quicker than the Ferraris, but has around two minutes to make up on the leading F340.

The lone Spyker in the race - the #85 entry driven at the moment by Porsche Supercup star Jeroen Bleekemolen, is seventh in class - around four minutes off the lead.
6h21m The #2 Audi pits, with Lucas Luhur remaining at the wheel during the stop for a tankful of diesel.

They are temporarily ahead of the #1 Audi after that recent driver change.
6h19m It is game on in LMP2 as Emmanuel Collard in the Team Essex car has closed to just over three seconds behind Keisuke Kunimoto in the leading Team Goh car.

6h03m To recap the dramatic turn of events in the last quarter hour, Alex Wurz in the #9 Peugeot now leads into the sixth hour, 40 seconds ahead of the #1 Audi driven by Dindo Capello.

The #2 Audi is a further 20 seconds behind in third, with Audi drivers reporting problems with understeer in the current track conditions.

5h37m The #81 Ferrari has spun at the Dunlop Chicane. Don Kitch, Jr. is trying to get the Team Advanced Engineering car back underway.
5h35m The #7 and #9 Peugeots pit on the same lap. Alex Wurz stays on board the second placed #9 car and rejoins following routine service.

Pedro Lamy remains behind the wheel of the #7 and is up to 17th place.

5h32m The LMP2 leaders pit together. Team Goh resume in the lead with Team Essex swapping out Kristian Poulsen with Emmanuel Collard.
5h31m Staying with GT2, the excellent fight continues at the front. The #82 Risi Competizione Ferrari is back in front, in the hands of Pierre Kaffer. The Porsche challenge is fading for a time as Andrew Kircaldy moves into second place in the #92 JMW Motorsport Ferrari, with Gianmaria Bruni now third in the AF Corse car.

The Porsche challenge is sliding down the order. The IMSA Performance #76 is fourth and the Flying Lizard have recently dropped down to sixth behind the #97 Ferrari after that puncture a few minutes ago.
