15h31m Andrea Belicchi is seventh for Speedy Racing in the #13 car, with the Kolles cars slipping down the order after long visits to the pits. They run in eighth and tenth, sandwiching Darren Turner in the #008 Aston Martin.
15h29m The order has shaken out following the recent round of stops.
Marc Gene leads the field in the #9 Peugeot 908, with a one lap advantage over Franck Montagny in the #'8 sister car. Tom Kristensen is third in the #1 Audi, two laps down.
Behind Kristensen, Stefan Mucke is fourth in the AMR Eastern Europe Aston Martin. Nicolas Lapierre runs fifth for Team Oreca Matmut, with Christophe Tinseau sixth in the Pescarolo Judd #16.

15h27m Keisuke Kunimoto has taken the Team Goh Spyder out of the pits but they remain around three laps behind LMP2 class leaders Team Essex.
15h25m The #14 Kolles Audi has left the garage after a long pitstop. Andre Lotterer is now at the controls as he and Charles Zwolsman continue their herculean two-driver effort, following the unfortunate dislocated shoulder mishap that befell Narain Karthikeyan just before the race.
15h19m Dindo Capello in Audi #1 has also been in for a regular stop, with the recent safety car having reset the pit laps to be very similar between the leading cars.
15h19m Marc Gene pits the leading #9 Peugeot and stays in the car for another 12 lap run.
15h17m Both Kolles Audis are in the garage now after a disastrous few minutes for the team.
15h17m The #14 Kolles Audi is also in trouble and the team seem to be looking at the transmission on that car.
15h16m The #16 Pescarolo relinquishes seventh place to Giorgio Mondini as Joao Barbosa comes into the pits for routine service. Barbosa hands over to Christophe Tinseau and the Frenchman sprints away to resume the battle.
15h15m The #15 Kolles Audi is pitting with damage to the front right and Giorgio Mondini seems to have been off road.
15h12m The fight for sixth has been resolved for the time being with Nicolas Lapierre moving up in the #11 Team Oreca car. He is seven seconds ahead of Joao Barbosa in the #16 Pescarolo in seventh.
Giorgio Mondini is the loser in that little scrap as he drops from sixth to eighth in the #15 Kolles Audi.

15h11m The #10 ORECA-AIM is in the pits for a driver change. Bruno Senna is being installed behind the wheel but the team have taken it in to the garage for further service.
The car has been crashed heavily, twice, and is 14th overall.

15h06m We've had a very interesting first 15 hours of the race so far, and things could get a lot more interesting as the early morning continues.
We have been watching the national weather radar for some time, and there is now concern regarding an area of showers developing quickly on the western side of France.
As you can see from the image loop, these showers are on their way to north-west France and the Le Mans area. They will take a while to get here, but the risk of rain is set to increase over the next couple of hours.

15h05m The Racing Box Lola, #30, has stopped beyond the Dunlop bridge and is struggling to get underway again. Andrea Piccini has climbed out of the car and the race looks to be over for that entry.
15h02m Sebastian Bourdais is clocked 2m51s behind Marc Gene's leading Peugeot with just under nine hours remaining.
15h00m Nicolas Lapierre has passed Joao Barbosa, taking the #11 Oreca up into seventh place. The #16 Pescarolo is down to eighth with Giorgio Mondini hanging onto sixth in the #15 Kolles Audi - just one second ahead of them.
14h57m The battle for sixth is hotting up in the few racing laps following the restart.
Kolles Audi #6 drievn by Giorgio Mondini holds that position currently but Barbosa in the #16 Pescarolo Judd and Lapierre in the #11 Oreca are right there.
The three of them were covered by just 0.568 seconds over the line last time round.

14h56m The oft-delayed Jetalliance Racing Aston is back in the pits once again, this time with a right rear puncture.
14h55m Sebastian Bourdais has caught and passed the #1 Audi on the road - putting Dindo Capello a lap behind the second-place Peugeot.
14h52m The gap in LMP2 remains at three laps between leaders Team Essex and challengers Team Goh. The latter was involved in contact with the Racing Box Lola, which lead to the recent safety car for track clean-up.
14h51m The best battle in the top ten is Joao Barbosa right on the tail of that #15 Audi.
14h50m The pair of Kolles R10 TDI Audis run fifth and sixth with the two-driver #14 car still a lap ahead of the #15.
14h49m Stefan Mucke is seven laps behind the lead in the #007 Lola-Aston Martin in fourth overall.
14h48m Sebastian Bourdais is now running just behind the #1 Audi on the road but is actually almost a lap ahead of the third-place car.
14h46m Peugeot #9 leads once again with Marc Gene at the wheel and he is over a lap clear of the #8 car.
14h43m The #23 Ginetta Zytek causes confusion instantly as Peter Hardman spins exiting the final chicane onto the pit straight as the restart signal is given. The rest of the field manage to avoid the sideways Strakka Racing machine and the race continues.
14h41m The safety car comes into the pitlane and we are racing once again.
14h39m The #4 Creation is in the pits - this time for routine service which must be a relief to the mechanics. Jamie Campbell-Walter hands over to Vanina Ickx. That car has dropped a further position to 35th overall since we last spoke about it.
14h36m The #35 Pescarolo-Mazda is unsurprisingly back in for attention, with smoke pouring from the left exhaust of the engine.
14h35m We are set for a battle over second place in GT2 as the #97 BMS Scuderia Italia Ferrari is just ahead of the #92 JMW Motorsport entry.
Mika Salo continues to lead this category in the #82 Risi Competizione Ferrari, but critically he now has a two-lap lead - the largest gap to second place that this team has enjoyed so far.

14h33m This lengthy safety car period continues for yet another lap.
14h30m The sun is beginning to rise and with it the visibility is increasing all the time. On certain parts of the circuit however the low sun will cause the drivers an occasional worrying moment.
14h27m The ACO race director has decided on another lap behind the safety cars.
14h27m Nicolas Lapierre is in eighth place with the #11 Oreca Matmut car and set to join the fun with Barbosa and Lapierre in a moment.
14h26m When the race restarts we are set for a battle over sixth position, as Joao Barbosa will attempt to move the #16 Pescarolo past Giorgio Mondini in the #15 Kolles Audi R10.
Apart from these two cars, the gaps are static across the rest of the top ten.
Apart from these two cars, the gaps are static across the rest of the top ten.
14h24m The safety car will pit at the end of this lap.
14h22m The #3 Audi is back in the garage yet again as further repairs are made. Romain Dumas climbs out on this occasion, handing the car to Alexandre Premat. The car is still way down the list in 38th position.
14h22m The #007 Lola-Aston Martin is breifly pitted by Stefan Mucke for what seemed to be a check of the tyre pressures on the fourth-placed car.
14h19m There are serious problems for the #35 Pescarolo-Mazda, which pulled away from a stop with smoke and flames from the car. The team bizzarely allowed Matthieu Laheye to head out for a complete lap but that smoking car will surely be back in for repairs very soon.
14h19m The safety car remains in control of the field as the circuit sweeping continues at the Ford Chicane.
