16h32m Over the last 90 minutes, Franck Montagny in Peugeot #8 has been lapping quicker than the leading #9 car. He has taken almost a minute out the the lead and is now clocked 1m58s behind.

15h58m Vanina Ickx is still driving the #4 Creation that has spent several long stints in the pits overnight. That car was running as high as 17th at one stage, but problems dropped it way down the order. They have recovered to 30th position as we approach the end of hour 16.

15h54m The IMSA Performance #76 Porsche is putting on a spurt in GT2. Patrick Pilet is back behind the wheel and recovering the bone he dropped in the twilight hours. That car remains fourth in class behind the three Ferraris, but is the quickest GT2 car at the moment.

15h52m #17 Peugeot team principal Henri Pescarolo has confirmed that Benoit Treluyer suffered no serious injuries following his huge accident during the night.
15h50m It is static down in LMP2, with Team Essex continuing to hold the class lead. That Porsche RS Spyder is now up to 12th overall.
