11h51m The #8 Peugeot comes into the pits and Stephane Sarrazin stays in the car for another run of 12 laps, leaving Allan McNish clear in second place in the Audi #1 for the time being.

The Peugeot takes on fuel only and Sarrazin will continue to chase the Audi through the night.
11h51m Oliver Gavin takes over the second-in-class #64 Corvette from Marcel Fassler.
11h49m The second place battlers Allan McNish and Stephane Sarrazin dodge and weave their way through the GT1 and GT2 cars in the dark. The Audi driver gets the better of the traffic and extends the gap to the #8 Peugeot to five seconds.
11h47m Jan Magnussen has been in the pits for another stop in the class-leading Corvette C6.R.
11h42m Allan McNish kept hold of his second place in the #1 Audi, and here we go again! The #8 Peugeot - now with Stephane Sarrazin behind the wheel - is closing to within three seconds.
11h41m GT2 update: The #82 Risi Competizione Ferrari has led for a considerable time, and is about to pit. In second place is the JMW Motorsport #92 Ferrari, with the IMSA Performance Porsche maintaining third place, and not able to make up the gap at the moment.
11h41m The #4 Creation makes another appearance on screen as it returns to the pit apron at the conclusion of its latest visit to the garage.
11h37m Allan McNish pits the #1 for fuel car after a recent spurt of pace. The stop will bring him out right with the #8 Peugeot.
11h35m In fourth place is the #17 Pescarolo Peugeot, some three laps down, with the #007 Aston in the hands of Tomas Enge still running very well in fifth, ahead of the first of the Kolles Audi entries in sixth.

The #7 Peugeot is in seventh spot, one lap behind Charles Zwolsman in that two-driver #14 Kolles car.
11h35m Work continues on the #009 Lola-Aston Martin in the garage. That car has slid to 27th overall with a spate of troubles.
11h34m McNish is pushing on at the moment, setting laps in the 3m27s bracket - closing the lead to 2m10s.

Wurz responds with his own 3m27s lap.
11h32m The #4 Creation Autosportif entry is in the garage once again for further repair. After a lengthy spell on the fringes of the top 20, the car has slipped down the classification to 32nd place. The problems of the last two hours have really hurt their progress.
11h32m Allan McNish was a second quicker than the leader on the last lap as he nears another stop.

The third-place car, Peugeot #8, is currently just over a minute behind McNish.
11h30m The #17 Pescarolo, #14 Kolles Audi and the #15 sister Kolles all came into the pits on the last lap for routine service.

The stop for the #15 Kolles promotes the Christian Klien #7 Peugeot into seventh place for the time being.
11h28m The troubled #009 Lola-Aston Martin is slowly pulled in to the garage with yet another problem.
11h27m Alex Wurz leads for Peugeot by 2m14s from Allan McNish in the Audi.
11h22m The #008 Lola-Aston Martin has been back in for a routine pit visit.
11h21m The #7 Peugeot has been in for an expected stop with Christian Klien remaining at the wheel in that fight back through the field, recovering from that amazing pitlane shunt with the #17.
11h19m They clearly haven't sorted the #25 RML car and it is back in the pits for further attention.
11h18m The RML entry, #25 Lola-Mazda, has been back in the garage but is now back out in 24th overall.
11h18m Stephane Sarrazin has rejoined still in third position in the #8 Peugeot - now 63 seconds behind Allan McNish.
11h16m Klien is now an impressive 63 seconds ahead of the Pescarolo Judd #16 in ninth - the car he was racing just a short time ago. Klien is due in the pits soon and we will watch to see if he keeps hold of eighth following his stop.
11h14m While the second place battle raged, Christian Klien took the #7 Peugeot up into eighth place as Soheil Ayari pits the Oreca AIM #11.
11h12m The leading #9 Peugeot is also in the pits. They replace the tyres and the driver, with AUTOSPORT snapper Alex Wurz taking over the lead car.
11h11m Car #8 gets routine service and Sarrazin is back out onto the track.
11h10m The Frenchman is flashing his lights in an attampt to trick McNish to move over, but the Scotsman is far too experienced to fall for that stunt.

11h09m Allan McNish in car #1 is now under attack from Stephane Sarrazin as the #8 Peugeot looks to make it a French one-two.
11h09m Sarrazin is quicker again on the last lap and there is just one second between them.
11h07m The gap closes between Allan McNish and Stephane Sarrazin to just over three seconds as the fight for second place hots up between Audi and Peugeot.
11h05m Further back, Christian Klien is now just four seconds behind Soheil Ayari in the Oreca AIM entry #8 as they fight over eighth position.
11h04m The Jetalliance Racing Aston Martin DBR9 is on a long stop and the mechanics have recently removed the boot from that car as they work on a problem.
11h03m That recent stop for Allan McNish in the #1 Audi has brought the #8 Peugeot to within seven seconds of the Scot. The third-placed Peugeot is due in soon for a stop, but a battle is definitely developing for second place.
10h56m The #7 Peugeot is now solidly in ninth place with Christian Klien remaining on board for a long stint. He is just 20 seconds behind Soheil Ayari in the Oreca AIM #11.
10h54m The IMSA Performance #76 Porsche is back into third place in GT2. The #97 Ferari has pitted and rejoined fourth with a driver change - Matteo Malucelli climbs out and Paolo Ruberti is now behind the wheel.
10h54m The #1 Audi has also been in for routine service - fuel only for Allan McNish.
10h53m The class leading #63 Corvette has been in for a stop. They replace the tyres and Jan Magnussen takes over in the driving seat.
10h49m Tomas Enge remains in the #007 as the work is completed and it heads back out.
10h48m The best of the Lola-Aston Martin, #007, is in the pits but this is far from routine. The team have the rear bodywork off the car on the pit apron and are working on the cooling slats along the side of the car.
10h42m The #3 Audi is in the pits with Timo Bernhard taking fresh rubber back out on to the circuit.
10h39m The #4 Creation is into the pits and wheeled into the garage sadly. Romain Iannetta had gained another place and was up to 17th position, but this latest issue will drop the car back down the order.
