LMP2
The #24 Manor ORECA has made a stop and, while a little slow away, Hirschi rejoins the race.
GTE PRO
Garcia pits the #63 Corvette from the lead, exactly where our paper-based scribblings predicted. We anticipate this car making five more stops, including one in the last half-hour of the race, if things run to schedule. Lietz moves back into the lead in the #91 Porsche, with 40s in hand over Derani's #67 Ford, which we expect to see in the pits in another lap or so.

The Rebellion bodywork is going back on.

Back to P7 for the #2 Porsche as Hartley picks off the #32 Ligier. The sixth-placed Manor is on the same lap, and on current pace will be caught in about four laps' time.

Beche slots into the #13 Rebellion, relieving Heinemeier Hansson.

The #13 Rebellion ORECA is into the pits for fuel and tyres. The sister #31 car, which looked like it was ready to head back out earlier, is still in the garage.
Radio Comms
Jarvis is warned to "take no kerb, exit of Tertre Rouge,” and is also told that this has been implicated in gearbox problems for other cars.

Turner pits the #97 Aston, which rotates the #63 Corvette into the lead, followed now at a 14s margin by Lietz. That's excellent work by Garcia in the #63 car; he's pulling away from Lietz by around a second a lap. Turner emerges in fourth behind Derani's #67 Ford, which stopped just over half an hour ago; he's narrowing the 21s margin by around a second a lap, but both of them are going slower than the leading duo now, lapping in the 3m54s rather than the 52s and 53s.

The #27 SMP Dallara of Sirotkin has had a brief off at Dunlop.
Pit stop
Out hops Bamber, in goes Hartley. The stop drops the #2 Porsche to P8, back behind the United Ligier.

Brendon Hartley looks to be limbering up to take over the #2 Porsche from Bamber.

As expected, Jarvis brings the #38 Jackie Chan DC ORECA into the pits.

Let's catch up with the progress of Le Mans rookie Rubens Barrichello. He's sharing the #29 RTN Dallara with Frits van Eerd and Jan Lammers. Currently, van Eerd is at the wheel and the car is in 13th place.

Bamber moves up to P7 overall in the #2 Porsche as the #32 United Autosports Ligier makes a stop.

The #13 Rebellion of Heinemeier Hansson has a brief off at the first Mulsanne chicane. But that hardly cost him any time.

Pit stop
That's 300 laps down for our race leader Tandy as he comes into the pits for a routine fuel stop, the Briton staying on board the #1 for another stint.

Gommendy has taken over the #37 Jackie Chan DC ORECA, which runs fourth.

Makowiecki heads into the pits in the class-leading #91 Porsche and hands over to Lietz, who emerges in the thick of what is now the battle for the lead between Turner's #97 Aston and Garcia's #63 Corvette. Garcia is only halfway through a stint and makes chipping away at an 8s deficit to the Aston, and now has Lietz for company.

In comes Davidson in the #8 Toyota, after a brief splash of fuel he's back on track.
LMP1
Tandy gains another lap on the nearest opposition on the overall leaderboard, and is now 13 laps up on the #38 ORECA of Jarvis. The #1 car has been lapping in the 3m24-5s bracket.

Derani brings in the #67 Ford and drops from second to fourth fifth in class. We're starting to scribble on bits of paper to work out how these stops might shake out come the end of the race.

The #35 Signatech ORECA has made a stop. Panciatici is still at the wheel and still in third place.

With the #31 Rebellion still in the pits, the #8 Toyota with Anthony Davidson at the wheel moves up to 13th overall, a lap behind the #34 Tockwith Ligier entry in 12th.

With Jarvis now in the #38 Jackie Chan ORECA, it's worth reflecting on the good job silver-rated Thomas Laurent has done in that car. Yes, he had an off early on, but he's made a big difference in the long-running battle with the two Rebellion ORECAs. Jarvis didn't always have such good team-mates. When he made his sportscar racing debut in the Maserati Trofeo in 2006, he was sharing with Autosport's Edd Straw, a self-confessed 'fat amateur'. One of the two put the car on pole, one of them had a spin in the race - guess which one did the good thing and which one did the bad thing...

Prost climbs aboard the #31 Rebellion ORECA, so that car is almost ready to go back out. But it's now outside the top 10 in class.

Bamber and the #2 Porsche back up to P8 overall, and on the same lap as the Jonathan Hirschi-wheeled #24 Manor ORECA ahead in seventh. Still 17 laps down on the leading car, which is lapping at a fairly steady rate in the hands of Tandy.

The start of Owen's spin in the #32 United Autosports Ligier.

Taylor brings the #63 Corvette in and hands over to Garcia. That releases Makowiecki into the nigh-on one minute lead the #91 Porsche has been enjoying for about half of each hour. Derani is second in the #67 Ford but nearing the end of his pit cycle, 22s ahead of Turner in the #97 Aston.

Owen, on an outlap in the #32 LIgier, has a spin into the gravel. He rejoins.

They are not adding oil to the #31ORECA's gearbox down at Rebellion. They obviously worked out which way the filter goes round.

The #38 Jackie Chan DC ORECA is in the pits. That's for fuel, tyres and for Laurent to hand over to Jarvis.

Work has stopped at the back of the #31 Rebellion ORECA. There are stern discussions about a part that appears to be some kind of filter.

Bamber in for a routine stop - his 22nd of the race - and back on track, now back behind the #40 Graff car in ninth overall.
