13h50m LMP1: Duval pits from the lead, but he's able to return with his lead intact even before Buemi, in the chasing #8 Toyota, follows him in.
13h49m LMP2: The #24 OAK car pits from the lead, so Brundle hands first place to the team's #35 machine.
13h47m GTE Am: Darryl O'Young takes over from Perazzini in the #55 Ferrari.
13h46m GTE Pro: Patrick Pilet pits in the Manthey Porsche, switching to slicks - making it three of the top four cars in the category on dry tyres.
13h45m GTE Am: Perazzini, second in class in the #55 AF Corse Ferrari, runs straight on at the second Mulsanne Chicane.
13h44m LMP1: Incidentally, Duval has led without interruption since the seventh hour, when the #1 Audi R18 was hit by alternator woes.
13h43m LMP2: And the #40 rejoins. That was quick.
13h43m LMP2: The #40 Boutsen Ginion car gets wheeled into the garage. That car was 43rd overall.
13h43m LMP1: Sebastien Buemi chipping away at Loic Duval's lead gap - he's consistently a handful of seconds faster in these cold conditions. Duval is also due to stop before the ex-F1 racer. What chance of a lead change?
13h41m LMP2: Brundle has edged the #24 OAK Morgan-Nissan 5.5s clear of fellow Brit Martin Plowman in the similar #35 car, though the former still has another stop to make.
13h38m GTE Pro: And now both Dumas in the lead and Makowiecki in second head for the pits.
13h37m LMP2: Stephane Raffin runs straight on at the first Mulsanne chicane but continues.
13h37m GTE Pro: Stefan Mucke in the #97 Aston Martin pits for slicks now. He loses time in the first second sector, but makes it up in the second and third.
13h35m LMP1: Lotterer, now back to eighth overall, is reportedly suffering with windscreen wiper problems in the #1 Audi R18.
13h34m GTE Am: The #67 Imsa Porsche looks like it takes on slicks in the pits.
13h34m GTE Pro: During that last safety car, and the cycle of pit stops, Makowiecki has lost around 80 seconds to the now-leading #92 Manthey Porsche.
13h25m LMP2: Ludovic Badey spins in the #46 TDS ORECA-Nissan at the first Mulsanne chicane, but is able to continue.
13h21m Track temperature has now dropped below 13 degrees for the first time.
13h19m LMP1: Oliver Jarvis runs off track briefly as he fights his way through traffic.
13h17m
LMP2: Ho-Pin Tung is wheeled back into the KCMG garage. He was running ninth in class.

Green flag
13h10m Go, go, go - we're green!
13h08m Looks pretty grotty out there. We're wondering if anyone has gambled on inters.
13h06m The safety cars (there are three of them, remember) are about to come in.
13h05m LMP1: Apologies, Lapeierre hadn't pitted, but he is in now.
13h03m LMP1: McNish in early, Duval gets in. Tyres would have motivated that stop. #3 comes in to (on schedule) and #1. Wets appear to be the order of the day or rather night.
13h00m The safety car period has been extended because of the rain. We've no quibble with that. Today is not the time to take risks.
Rain
12h59m It's chucking it down - the proper stuff this time. The Toyotas have been in, no news yet on the tyres they've taken.
12h56m Although organisers are urging caution due to wet conditions at the restart.
12h56m Safety car in this lap.
12h50m
GTE Am: We have another car stopped on track - this time its the #55 AF Corse Ferrari that was third in class. Piergiuseppe Perazzini was reported to have halted, but has got going once more.

12h48m LMP1: Slight but continuous drizzle in the pitlane, according to Toyota. We're nearing the 45th minute of this safety car period.
12h46m GTE Pro: Frederick Makowiecki pits in the class-leading #99 Aston. Looks like a brake service as the team seeks to capitalise on this safety car period.
12h45m GTE Am: More bad news for the #70 Corvette squad - Philippe Dumas has gone off at the first Mulsanne Chicane.
12h43m LMP1: Confirmation that Toyota has moved back onto the lead lap, although both cars are more than three minutes down on leader Allan McNish.
Rain
12h40m Rain is now being reported down between Mulsanne and Indianapolis.
12h39m We're 30 minutes past half-distance. So, if you're just joining us - or if you want to recap anything - here's what's happened in the last six hours:

12h35m Very disjointed so far.
12h35m Plenty of damage to the barriers between the Dunlop Esses and Tertre Rouge, hence this lengthy safety car spell - the seventh of this race.
12h26m Organisers estimate barrier repairs will take around 30-40 minutes.
12h21m LMP2: Tony Burgess is okay, but he's been taken, via the circuit medical centre, to hospital for tests.
