Skaife wins race two
After his disappointment in race one, Mark Skaife took victory in the reverse-grid race two at Oran Park in Sydney
Skaife took the victory despite spinning off on lap one, and having to hold off Craig Lowndes in the closing laps. Second-place finisher Lowndes also survived an early-race spin.
Lee Holdsworth finished in third for Garry Rogers, with Steven Johnson and Russell Ingall completing the top five. Todd Kelly, winner of race one, finished tenth.
The final reverse-grid race had the usual spins, crashes and off-track moments that have characterised the format experiment this season, including a succession of safety cars in the middle of the event.
One of the losers after a mid-race safety car was Garth Tander, who went off at turn two while battling with James Courtney, finishing 21st.
Earlier in the race, teammate Rick Kelly had his own moment at the dogleg, spinning into the dirt before recovering to finish in 13th place.
