Truex Wins Daytona Busch

Martin Truex held onto the lead in the closing laps to take the Busch series win at Daytona

Truex was leading with eight laps to go but got shuffled back, before regaining the lead just before a thirteen car accident caused a half-hour red flag within sight of the chequered flag.

In the three laps remaining Truex held off his challengers, extending his points lead, as he led home Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle, Kenny Wallace and Clint Bowyer.

Reed Sorenson's 20th place finish dropped him to third in the points, as Bowyer's fifth place moved him up to second.

Carl Edwards ended the race in 36th after getting caught in the late-race crash, his challenge for the Busch title beginning to look difficult.
