Riggs on Lowe's 600 pole
Scott Riggs will start from pole position in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway
Riggs followed up his Nextel Open pole at the same track to edge out fellow Dodge driver and teammate Jeremy Mayfield for the top spot.

Next on the starting line-up are rookie JJ Yeley and veteran Bobby Labonte, with Matt Kenseth in sixth.
Reigning Nextel Cup champion Tony Stewart struggled in qualifying, setting the 32nd fastest time, two places ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Both drivers currently sit in the top five of the driver standings.
