NASCAR to review TV footage of Busch and Logano's Las Vegas fight

NASCAR officials will review TV and video footage of a postrace fight between drivers Kyle Busch and Joey Logano at Las Vegas, a spokesperson for the series confirmed to Autosport

The pair made contact on the final lap of Sunday's Cup race as they negotiated the ailing Brad Keselowski, with Busch coming off worst and spinning out and into the pitlane.

LAS VEGAS REPORT: Truex wins after Keselowski hits late trouble

Shortly after the conclusion of the race, Busch walked down to Logano's garage to confront him.

Busch approached Logano before throwing a punch at the Penske driver that appeared to connect.

The two drivers were involved in a further scuffle and fell to the ground, before NASCAR officials pulled Busch away.

As Busch was escorted from the garage, he appeared to be bleeding from a cut on his face.

The 2015 Cup champion was taken to the infield care centre but was quickly released before leaving the track.

Neither driver nor their teams were called to the NASCAR hauler after the race, but Logano's crew chief, Todd Gordon, and Travis Geisler, Penske's NASCAR competition director, both requested a meeting with NASCAR officials after the race.

The two drivers had contrasting opinions on their on-track clash, with Busch laying the blame firmly at Logano's door.

"I got dumped," he said. "He [Logano] flat-out just drove straight into the corner and wrecked me.

"That's how Joey races. He's going to get it."

Logano retored: "We usually never have any issues. He [Busch] tried to pin me down into the corner underneath Brad [Keselowski] and we about crashed on entry.

"I was still trying to gather it up and was going to spin out, so I tried to chase it up and he was there.

"It wasn't anything intentional, but obviously he thinks it was. We'll get by."
