Kyle Busch commits to Busch

Nextel Cup rookie of the year Kyle Busch will run a full campaign in the Busch series next season, dovetailing it with his Cup assault

Hendrick Motorsports announced that Busch will drive the No. 5 Lowe's Chevrolet in every NASCAR Busch Series race in 2006.

Busch is the sixth Nextel cup driver to commit to full Nextel Cup and Busch season in 2006, joining Clint Bowyer, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Reed Sorenson and J.J. Yeley.

Busch drove 14 Busch races last season and has six victories in the category. He took two Nextel Cup victories in his rookie year.

"It's good to be back in the Lowe's Chevrolet and back full time in the Busch Series," said Busch. "Hopefully we can repeat the success we had in my first season. I love the Busch Series, so I'm excited that Lowe's, its vendor partners and especially Lowe's employees are enthusiastic about having me back.

"I know it's going to make for a pretty hectic schedule, but I'm a racer. The more I race, the happier I am."
