Harvick wins Busch in Indianapolis
Kevin Harvick continued his march towards the Busch series championship with victory in the Kroger 200 at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis
Denny Hamlin led most of the first half of the race, before Kevin Harvick took over just before half-distance. From there on it was Harvick all the way, to take his fifth win this season.
Any chance Harvick had of being beaten disappeared at the final restart, when he made a huge jump away from the rest of the pack. Reed Sorenson therefore had to settle for second in his Dodge, with JJ Yeley third in a Chevrolet.
Denny Hamlin was among a handful of driver to pit at the last caution, and after restarting 19th, moved back up to eight place in less than twenty laps. However, he was not able to get back to take the win his car seemed capable of earlier in the race.
After starting in the middle of the field, Carl Edwards made it to tenth by race's end to maintain second in the championship, but Harvick's win meant he lost further ground.
