Hamlin on Dover Busch pole
Denny Hamlin claimed pole position for today's Busch race at Dover International Raceway, achieving his third pole in the last four races
Hamlin, who had also dominated the last practice session, set a lap of 23.443 seconds at an average speed of 153.561 mph.
His effort was once again faster than the pole position time set for the Nextel Cup race with the Car of Tomorrow.
Scott Wimmer will line up second while Australian Marcos Ambrose was an impressive third in his first visit to the Monster Mile.
Dave Blaney, who failed to qualify for the Nextel Cup race, was fourth and as usual, fastest among the Toyotas.
Two-time winner at Dover Greg Biffle was sixth while his Roush Fenway teammate and points leader Carl Edwards was eighth fastest, both running two tenths of a second off from Hamlin's pole time.
Juan Pablo Montoya qualified 24th for his first race at Dover while reigning Bush Series Champion Kevin Harvick was a low 29th in his KHI No. 77 entry, one place behind his team's second entry driven this weekend by Tony Raines.
With 43 cars entered for today's event, all of them will start the race.
