Peugeot leads Sebring testing

Peugeot was quickest again on the second day of unofficial testing ahead of this weekend's Sebring 12 Hours

The #08 car of Pedro Lamy, Sebastien Bourdais and Nicolas Minassian led the way on Tuesday, although its 1m46.232s lap was only 0.3 seconds ahead of the Aston Martin Racing entry driven by Adrian Fernandez, Harold Primat and Stefan Mucke.

Drayson took third place with its Lola-Judd, in which team regulars Paul Drayson and Jonny Cocker will be joined by double Sebring winner Emanuele Pirro this weekend.

Last year's American Le Mans Series LMP1 champion squad Highcroft was quickest in LMP2 with its rebranded HPD ARX-01c, ahead of the Dyson Lola-Mazda, which will run on isobutanol fuel in 2010.

Ferrari had a one-two in the GT2 class, with the best of the Risi and Extreme Speed cars ahead of the top Corvette.

The Green Earth Gunnar team was quickest in the new LMPC category, while Alex Job crew Butch Leitzinger, Juan Gonzalez and Leh Keen topped the GT Challenge field by a second.
