FIA tweaks F2 scoring system

Formula 2 drivers will be allowed to drop two scores from two races in this year's inaugural championship

Motorsport's ruling body, the FIA, announced the change of Thursday, saying that it had been introduced in order to reduce the influence of any unreliability on results, considering the very short time for preparation for the championship.

The change means the score of only 14 races will count for the standings.
