Spa GP3: Carlos Sainz Jr takes commanding pole
Carlos Sainz Jr will start race one of the GP3 Series weekend at Spa from pole position after dominating the qualifying times on Saturday morning
The MW Arden driver held an advantage of almost four tenths over his team-mate Daniil Kvyat, who will start alongside him on the front row.
Jack Harvey set exactly the same time to the thousandth of a second as Kvyat, but will start third as he recorded his lap after the Russian.
Harvey's ART team-mate Conor Daly was fourth fastest, just 0.006s off his colleague.
Championship leader Tio Ellinas was fifth fastest, ahead of Alex Fontana, Nick Yelloly and Kevin Korjus.
Title contender Facu Regalia, who is only a point behind Ellinas, was ninth fastest.
