As Honda gave the green light to an environmentally conscious Formula One with the unveiling of their radical 'Earth Car' earlier this week, Jonathan Noble went behind the scenes to seek answers for some pertinent questions about the whole concept of Grand Prix racing's new global awareness. In years gone by, Honda Racing sometimes found themselves grabbing the limelight for all the wrong reasons - after promising the Earth prior to each season but then failing to fulfil their expectations. For 2007, they are doing things very differently.
This time they are actually delivering the Earth with a radical new environment-based livery. For 2007, the RA107 will become the 'Earth Car', featuring a view of the world from outer space, as Honda bids to increase awareness of the world's environmental issues.
