From the Pulpit

Who will partner Fernando Alonso at McLaren next year? Not Raikkonen or Montoya, it seems. Matt Bishop puts himself in the shoes of Ron Dennis

The Barcelona weekend was dominated by feverish rumour-mongering on the subject of whether Michael Schumacher was about to (a) re-sign for Ferrari or (b) retire, and whether Kimi Raikkonen was about to (a) sign for Ferrari or (b) sign for Renault. I expect the Monaco weekend to carry on where Barcelona left off.

Some pitlane pundits insist that Ferrari will announce Raikkonen at Monaco. Others swear that's bunkum. Still more are adamant that Renault, newly re-committed to Formula One until the end of 2012, are gunning for Kimi with both barrels.
