Celebrating his 100th race win last weekend, Carlin is now attempting to make it into Formula One, with the blessing of FIA president Max Mosley. It's been a heck of a week for Trevor Carlin. On Sunday, his eponymous team celebrated their 100th victory in motor racing with wins in the opening British Formula BMW Championship round at Brands Hatch.
Then, just 48 hours later, Carlin finally decided to go public and confirm that his outfit was one of the 22 teams who have put their names forward for the 2008 Formula One World Championship.
