Tank Slappers Podcast: Spanish GP review

Alex Marquez finally claimed his maiden MotoGP race victory after winning last weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez.

The Gresini Ducati rider has moved to the top of the standings as a result, having taken the win on his 93rd race start.

His older brother Marc, previously held the championship lead after winning the Saturday sprint race before crashing for a second time in three grands prix.

So the battle at the top of MotoGP is naturally the biggest talking point in the latest Tank Slappers podcast, where host Dre Harrison is joined by Autosport’s Richard Asher and Oriol Puigdemont. 

There is also talk of Marc’s factory Ducati team-mate Francesco Bagnaia, as the double world champion has had a difficult start to 2025 and just clinging on in the title battle.
