Pedrosa says Honda making progress
Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa reckons the Honda team are getting on top of the problems that has blighted the start of their season
The Japanese squad are yet to win a Grand Prix after seven races, but Pedrosa has showed progress in the last couple of races, fighting at the front both in Italy and Spain.
"It looks like that (things are getting better). We are getting closer so I think this is a good time for us and let's see if we can keep improving for the win," Pedrosa told a news conference at Donington.
"The last part of the races looks like the main problem but it looks like we are improving in that area so we are more competitive."
The Repsol Honda rider, who took a dominant win at Donington last year, is not convinced he will be able to repeat the feat this season, but the Spaniard admits he is hopeful of a good result at Donington.
"Sure, it would be nice but this year we are having different feelings, so we will see," he said. "Anyway I think it has always been a good track for us, I expect to have a good race. We will see with the weather but I think we can do a good race."
