Elias glad to be back in action
Toni Elias is delighted to be back in MotoGP action this weekend following his absence due to injury
The Gresini rider broke his femur in a crash during the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen and was forced to miss three races while he recovered.
The Spaniard is returning to MotoGP this weekend in Brno, and although he admits he will be far from 100 per cent ready, he is glad to be back in the paddock.
"I am really to come back," Elias told a news conference. "It has been two difficult months for me. I worked a lot in the holidays, many hours every day for my leg.
"My leg is now 60 percent more or less, but I think it is good for me to come back. I think it is important to show that Toni Elias is still in MotoGP.
"I rode two days ago in Misano with a CBR600 just to feel how is my leg. Sure it is completely different compared to MotoGP, but it was okay. I was still in pain but I can still ride.
"I am just happy to be back, to take the feeling again, and work with my team."
