Capirossi: More to come from Suzuki

Loris Capirossi believes there is a lot more to come from him and Suzuki this weekend after he finished the practice day sixth quickest

The Italian says the GSV-R bike isn't quite right yet and expects to move higher up tomorrow if they can improve the set-up.

"I stayed out towards the end of the session to try a different engine setting and it certainly improved the bike a little bit," he said. "It's still not the best it can be, but we know we are working in the right direction.

"The bike seems to be working quite well and I am happy with the way the first day went and the modifications Suzuki have given us for this weekend seem to be working better. We still need to work on tyre settings but I think we can do a good job on Sunday."

Capirossi's Rizla Suzuki teammates were less impressive in practice, with Chris Vermeulen finishing the day 11th and Nobuatsu Aoki well off the pace in 19th.
