125cc: Gadea fastest in the wet at Jerez
Spaniard Sergio Gadea topped the times on the second day of official 125cc testing at the Jerez circuit in Spain
Today's session was again hit by rain, hindering the teams' progress as they complete their final preparations ahead of the start of the season in Qatar.
Few riders ventured out in the opening hour of the test, as the Spanish track was too wet. It took 40 minutes before someone came out of the pits.
Aprilia rider Gadea finished on top of the timesheets with a best time of 1:59.565, the Spaniard the only man to break below the two-minute barrier. Gadea's time, however, was nearly 17 seconds slower than yesterday's best, set by Mattia Pasini.
Briton Bradley Smith finished as second fastest after leading the way for much of the morning on his Honda.
Frenchman Mike di Meglio was third quickest for Honda, ahead of Spaniard Hector Faubel, third in last year's championship. German Sandro Cortese rounded up the top five with his Aprilia.
