Moto2: Dovizioso takes Estoril pole
Andrea Dovizioso has taken his second pole position of the season at Estoril, ahead of tomorrow's 250cc Portuguese Grand Prix
Thanks to a lap time of 1:40.355, the Honda rider improved by almost half a second over the time he set yesterday, enabling him to move up from the second spot he held in first qualifying.
Points leader Jorge Lorenzo had a difficult session and could only set the sixth best time, but thanks to the time he set in the provisional pole he held yesterday, the Aprilia rider will be able to start the race from second.
The third spot on the grid will be filled by Aprilia's Hector Barbera, second fastest today, ahead of the KTMs of Mika Kallio and Hiroshi Aoyama.
Aprilia's Alvaro Bautista was sixth fastest, with Julian Simon's Honda seventh, Alex de Angelis's Aprilia eighth, Yuki Takahashi's Honda ninth, and Thomas Luthi's Aprilia tenth.
