Milwaukee IndyCar: Josef Newgarden stays on top in second practice
Josef Newgarden continues to set the IndyCar pace at Milwaukee, the CFH racer topping the times for the final practice session before qualifying

Newgarden, who was also quickest on Saturday afternoon, once again waited until late in the session to show his hand. His fastest lap of 170.654mph came in the final few minutes and unseated long-time session leader Helio Castroneves' 170.348mph effort.
Graham Rahal also held his place among the frontrunners, finishing up third-quickest ahead of Charlie Kimball, with Takuma Sato rounding out the top five.
The session was interrupted by just one brief caution for a track inspection, but it was spared a longer delay by Tony Kanaan's quick reflexes: the Brazilian took evasive action just in time to avoid contact after being chopped by Pippa Mann.
This morning's practice marks the start of a busy day for the teams, with qualifying scheduled to start in just a few hours, and the race to follow this afternoon.
