Wendlinger and Sharp win at Adria

Karl Wendlinger and Ryan Sharp converted their pole position into a victory at Adria on Saturday evening

While the pair led the majority of the race, they only took the chequered flag by 3.5 seconds ahead of the Maserati MC12 of Andrea Bertolini and Andrea Piccini.

Fabio Babini and Jamie Davies completed the podium, while championship leader Thomas Biagi is under pressure in the standings after he was eliminated in a first lap accident.

Dirk Muller and Toni Vilander recovered from being forced to the back of the grid after qualifying on the GT2 pole to take class honours for AF Corse.

Gianmaria Bruni and Stephane Ortelli completed a 1-2 for the Ferrari team, while Spa 24 Hours winners Emmanuel Collard and Matteo Malucelli took third in class in their Porsche.
