Derek Bell is a five-time Le Mans winner, former factory Porsche and Ferrari driver and a genuine British motor racing legend. Now he's joined the ranks of famous AUTOSPORT contributors!

While filming for the magazine during this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, the 68-year-old talked to National editor Kevin Turner about the race he remembered most fondly during a career that has spanned five decades.

And, though he drove for Ferrari in F1 and dominated along with Jacky Ickx at Le Mans for Porsche in the early '80s, it was Formula 2 race in a Wheatcroft Brabham at Montjuich Park in 1968 that is the one that stands out among them all.
