Vallelunga Superstars: Morbidelli crowned champion as Berton wins
Giovanni Berton won the first Superstars International Series race at Vallelunga, while Gianni Morbidelli sealed his fourth title with fourth place

Berton was completely dominant for Dinamic BMW, leading every lap on his way to a comfortable 3.2s victory ahead of his team-mate Max Mugelli.
Behind the two BMWs, the two title contenders Thomas Biagi and Morbidelli spent the majority of the race running nose-to-tail.
With Biagi's Romeo Ferraris Mercedes having out-gunned Morbidelli's Audi Sport Italia RS5 on the run to the first corner, Biagi found himself in third, and even had team-mate Tonio Liuzzi sneak into fourth, offering a glimmer of hope of keeping the title fight alive.
But after a brief scrap with Liuzzi, Morbidelli was able to slot into fourth place and eventually managed to sneak into third when Biagi's car suddenly slowed, and then stopped, on the final lap.
As a result Morbidelli (pictured) now has an unassailable points advantage heading into the final race of the season.
Audi Sport Italia ring-in Andrea Larini finished fourth, having barged his way past Liuzzi mid-race, while Liuzzi cruised his way to an ultimately lonely fifth.
The Solaris Chevrolet pair of Domenico Schiattarella and Francesco Sini finished sixth and seventh, ahead of the third Dinamic BMW of Mauro Trentin, who sealed a great race for the team by earning the race two pole with eighth.
