"The last time I saw F1 cars in action was in Estoril in 1994. I've just been busy with my own things, and in fact this is the first time I've been inside Indianapolis since the 500 in '95."

"I think it's good. The cars look good, and they definitely appear to slide around a lot. It's hard to tell when you're just watching on TV and not out on the track. What I like is that there's a lot of atmosphere around the track, and a lot of excitement, and I didn't get the sense that Indy has had that since the split between the IRL and CART. So it's a good feeling."

"I don't know. I don't really think about it. I make good money at what I'm doing and I enjoy what I'm doing, and at the end of the day that's what you have to have - enjoyment out of what you doing. So I don't think I missed out on anything, I don't think I made the wrong decision at the time. Maybe things could have been different, but it's worked out well for me. It's just enjoyable to see people that you raced against. Sure I would like to drive in F1, but I think time has passed me by a little bit - although I'm not too old. It's not a huge ambition of mine any more."

"It's a little bit tough to swallow, not running here any more. As I said I haven't set foot inside here since '95."

"It's whoever's going to be the most consistent. We had an opportunity at St Louis and we had the gearbox go away. That's been a problem with the Reynard all year, the gearbox has been very weak, but hopefully we can get that to stay together in the last few races."

"It's pretty amazing really. I'm quite surprised that there are so many guys that can win the championship. The key is just going to be consistent."

"Dario and myself are very strong on street circuit, so Surfer's should be good. He's out of the championship now, so hopefully he can help me a little bit. As far as the superspeedway (Fontana) is concerned, it's a case of throwing the balls up in the air. You never know who's going to win in that situation, with the wings and the reliability. It's going to come down to the last race, and hopefully we can have a good run in Fontana."

"I don't know. I signed a contract with Barry, and I didn't know that it was going to happen at the time. So I don't know what to really think about it. He's still saying that it's not happening, but everybody's saying that it is happening. So we'll just have to wait and see when it's announced."

"Well, Barry really runs the business side of the team, and what he's telling me is that the business side is set, and everything is in place, and the management side will stay the same. Hopefully it won't disrupt the team too much, but we'll just have to wait and see."
