Pastorelli returns for Edmonton
Nicky Pastorelli will return to the Champ Car World Series for this weekend's Edmonton round after resolving the sponsorship issues that forced him to sit out the previous race in Toronto
"I am very happy to be back racing with Rocketsports," said Pastorelli. "Edmonton will be a new experience for me.
"It is a nice track from what I have seen and heard, so I am even more excited to get back out there after missing out on the Toronto experience.
"I hope we can have a good result and continue from where we left off by improving even more this weekend."
Rocketsports will be back up to a two-car line-up at Edmonton as this race is included on Tonis Kasemets' part-season schedule.
Financial pressures have forced Paul Gentilozzi's team to shuffle their driver line-up several times already this year.
A planned transformation into a 'Team Brazil' operation - with Antonio Pizzonia and Enrique Bernoldi as drivers - fell through, although Pizzonia did drive for Rocketsports in the first round.
A deal with Franck Montagny also failed to come to fruition, so Pastorelli took the Rocketsports seat from Houston onwards, joined on occasion by Kasemets. The latter was then the team's sole representative at Toronto when Pastorelli had to skip the race.
