Montoya looking foward to title decider
Juan Montoya is ready for the final battle of the 1999 CART FedEx Championship series, but knows that even if he wins the race, he may not be champion
The sensational Colombian qualified in third position with a speed of 234.251mph, five places ahead of rival Dario Franchitti - who has a nine point series lead.
'I'm pretty confident with the car we have, and we have been quick in all the sessions. I feel we have a really good race car, and I'm looking forward to working with it. I can only do my job, and see what happens with Dario.
'If you asked me what we should've changed on the car to go quicker in qualifying, I'd have said nothing.
'The car felt perfect, it was just the wind that affected us, but that's the way it goes.
'I felt it most going down the straight into Turn One. The car was not accelerating at all. It felt like the handbrake was on!'
