MIA extends NASCAR initiative

The MIA's CEO, Chris Aylett, commented: "The USA is without doubt the most important market (and still largely untapped) for MIA members and the wider motorsport industry, and will continue to be so for some years to come. The NASCAR sector is a hugely valuable component of this scene and its importance to UK companies is reflected in this key appointment."

Jeremy Burne added: "Michael's appointment markedly strengthens the MIA's presence in the USA. His reputation and experience in US motorsport is second to none. He has been a staunch ally and valued supporter of the MIA's activities for many years. We have long since come to rely on his experience to aid our expansion in the region and, with his full-time support, we can expect to make still bigger strides in the future."
