Gronholm completes RoC line-up
Former world rally champion Marcus Gronholm has completed the line-up for next week's Race of Champions at Beijing's Birds Nest stadium
The 41-year old Finn has been an RoC regular over the last few years, and won the event outright in 2002.
He is looking forward to tackling Chinese-based tournament, both in the main even and in the Nations' Cup, in which he will compete for Team Finland with Ford rally star Mikko Hirvonen.
"The Race of Champions is great fun, and I missed competing in it last year," said the 2000 and 2002 world rally champion.
"Everyone has a laugh, but you always want to win, and because you're in the same cars you don't have the excuses if you don't. It's exciting, and I think racing in China will be fantastic."
RoC organisers also announced that FIA Cross Country World Cup winner Guerlain Chicherit will take part in the event. As well as taking part in the main event, he will also partner his French compatriot Yvan Muller in the Nations' Cup.
