Eurointernational Confirm 10 Races

Eurointernational have confirmed they will compete in at least 10 Champ Car races next season

The team, which previously completed in the series as Euromotorsport in Nineties, will return to the sport next season with a one-car team, with the aim of a full assault on the series when the new technical regulations come into force in 2007.

Team owner Antonio Ferrari said the team were working on securing the budget to complete the full season, but were only committed to 10 road course races at present.

"I feel that now are the technical and financial conditions to bring back Eurointernational Team in Champ Car," said Ferrari. "Since our last race at Laguna Seca in 1994, my team have some unfinished business."

The car will run in the team's traditional blue and silver livery and testing will begin before the end of the year with a European driver. The team have already all the equipment and organisation in place for the Champ Car programme, including a new facility in Indianapolis.

The team's programmes in the World Series by Renault, Italian Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula BMW USA will continue.
