Eng enters Formula Two
Philipp Eng is the latest driver to have signed-up for this year's Formula Two championship
The 18-year-old Austrian won the Formula BMW World Final at Valencia in 2007 and received a BMW Sauber F1 test as a prize.
He only contested part seasons in Formula BMW and German F3 last season and is looking forward to having a full-time campaign again.
"In my opinion, Formula Two is a great opportunity for young drivers because the costs are not as high as other racing series and everybody has the same vehicle - it is up to the driver to show their ability," said Eng.
"I know that it will be very tough as there are some very experienced and successful drivers in the line-up. Having won the BMW World Final at Valencia, I am really looking forward to starting the season there.
"The prize of a test drive with Williams F1 is obviously very appealing and my recent experience in an F1 car was amazing, so I will give everything to get another F1 test."
Eng's former Formula BMW Germany rival Jens Hoing has also been confirmed on the F2 grid for this year.
