British GP: what can you bet on?

It's now a four-way race for the title with the Schumacher's, Montoya and Raikkonen all in the frame, but as well as the outright winner we've got a whole host of other bets to consider - all designed to add to the excitement. So have a look at Paddy Power's guide to F1 betting...

Of course you can bet on who'll be the winner, and it's hard to beat Schumacher for a sure thing, but you might want to bet on...


Of course there are a few drivers out there who are able to get Pole but don't seem to capitalise on it. Kimi Raikkonen is just the man to back for Pole since he doesn't seem to have the edge to win races at the moment!


Ralf and Montoya have been dominating the podium of late and Michael is never far away: who can interrupt this podium party or get among the points?


At the other end of the scale there a few cars that won't make it round the first lap. We have betting on how many cars will crash out before completing the first lap.


Match betting is a bet on who will finish highest of the two drivers involved. FIA Classification applies at all times.


Forecast betting is a bet on which drivers will come first and second in the correct order. If either driver fails to start for any reason other than non-qualification, all bets will be settled as a win single on the remaining driver, unless otherwise requested.


How many drivers will finish is a bet on how many drivers will be officially classified as finishers by the FIA.


Who'll be the first driver to retire is a bet on which driver will be the first to retire from the race on Sunday. The bet begins with the signal to start the warm up lap, and the first driver to retire will be deemed to be the first driver to leave the race after this signal.
