Barber gets Daytona Prototype fixture

The 2003 Grand American Road Racing Association schedules, announced over the weekend, include fixtures at the 2.3-mile road circuit which is currently under construction at the new Barber Motorsports Park near Birmingham, AL. The 2003 Rolex Sports Car Series will comprise 12 events, one more than the Grand-Am Cup. Click on either link for the full calendars

"The Barber 250 and the Barber Park Twin 200s will mark the debut of the Barber Motorsports Park to the general public," said Gene Hallman, CEO of Bruno Event Team. "We feel we have one of the finest road tracks in North America, and the future looks extremely bright."

Grand-Am will also return to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 2003, as well as the spectacularly redeveloped Mont-Tremblant road circuit in Canada.
