Top 50 Drivers of 2025

Autosport's team of expert journalists got together to try to assess who were the top 50 drivers of 2025. Here are the results.

There was no repeat of the 2024 drivers’ crown for Kevin Estre, but his heroics helped bring he and team-mate Laurens Vanthoor within touching distance as the season drew to a close.

The comeback started at Le Mans, where he starred at the beginning and end when his Porsche 963 LMDh was at its most competitive. He once again proved his wet-weather prowess at Austin to seal victory.

Then there was his comeback drive at Fuji, admittedly after a mistake in qualifying, the first of two when the chips were down. They were black marks against the best of the Porsche drivers in 2025.
