Lewis Hamilton’s Formula 1 roller coaster ride at Ferrari, plus a look at the new World Rally and British Touring Car champions, feature in the November 2026 issue of Autosport magazine, out today (22 October).

How will Hamilton’s time at Ferrari be remembered? A year ago, the answer seemed to be heading towards one of failure, but it’s more positive now.

The seven-time world champion has won a grand prix in red and has largely matched or beaten highly rated team-mate Charles Leclerc in 2026. For a while he appeared the most likely challenger to Mercedes. And yet…

Something is still not quite gelling. Stuart Codling outlines the good, the bad and the curious about the state of play at Ferrari in this month’s cover feature.

Elsewhere in the issue, Jake Boxall-Legge talks to both Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu and Alpine star Pierre Gasly, while James Page ranks James Hunt’s greatest drives, 50 years after the colourful character took the F1 crown.

Congratulations are also in order for Elfyn Evans and Ash Sutton. After five runner-up spots, Evans finally scooped the World Rally crown, while Sutton now has to be regarded as one of the greats of tin-top racing after his fifth British Touring Car title. We hear what makes them special from those around them.

As well as coverage of four F1 races, we report from Petit Le Mans, the Bathurst 1000 and the Goodwood Revival, speak to new McLaren Hypercar signing Laurens Vanthoor, and bring you the latest National news from UK motorsport.

We’ve also got some exciting subscription news. Autosport has brought back our print-only subscription offer. New readers, and anyone returning to the magazine, can have their first three issues for just £3, delivered to their door (UK only).

Six-month and annual subscriptions are also available. All the offers can be found here.
