Aston to Race Final Two Rounds
Aston Martin have confirmed they will compete in the final two rounds of the American Le Mans Series, including the Petit Le Mans
The Prodrive-run squad will take part in the events at Road Atlanta, Georgia and Laguna Seca, California next month.
The Aston Martin Racing DBR9 took victory in its maiden ALMS event earlier this season, when it won the GT1 class in the 12 Hours of Sebring.
For the Petit Le Mans, David Brabham, Darren Turner will pilot the number 57 DBR9 with one yet-to-be confirmed driver.
The sister car will be driven by Peter Kox, Pedro Lamy and Tomas Enge. At the four-hour Laguna Seca event, Brabham and Turner will drive #57 with Kox and Lamy in #58.
Speaking on behalf of Aston Martin Racing, Prodrive boss David Richards said: "It's a pleasure to be returning to the highly competitive ALMS series in the US, where Aston Martin has many fans and customers. We look forward to renewing the rivalries we have enjoyed all year."
