United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: Alex Brundle is the first into the 1m38s bracket this weekend. He was panicking earlier as he was waiting on delivery of a carbonfibre strip for the visor of his helmet which has been insisted upon since James Hinchcliffe's recent Indycar road course incident.

United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: We're seeing some impressive speeds at the Glen this weekend, even the second-division PC class cars are lapping in the 121mph bracket.
A great battle for fastest time in that session with former NASCAR protege Colin Braun nabbing pole, a last-lap flyer giving him a quarter of a second advantage over Tom Kimber-Smith and former A1GP racer Renger van der Zande.
Van der Zande can take solace in the fact he's the son of a former Dutch rallycross champion; TKS's dad wasn't too shabby in the BTCC either.

IndyCar - Houston: Restart waved off, and Filippi is in the wall. He lost it coming out of the final corner and snapped into the barrier. Newgarden did the same thing a couple of minutes ago, and is in the pits having his suspension fixed.

WRC - Poland: We'll have four more stages to wrap this up on Sunday morning, three full-length plus a final run around the superspecial.
The battle to watch is going to be the one for third. Neuville, Hirvonen, Hanninen and Latvala are covered by 25s and Latvala is trying to minimise the damage Ogier's win is going to do in what is still just about a title fight between the VW team-mates. And there's a Powerstage bonus to scrap over too.

IndyCar - Houston: Spin from Pagenaud, but he recovers. Meanwhile, Newgarden has followed Kimball's lead and switched to slicks. Kimball is now lapping faster than leader Sato, so it's starting to look like an inspired call from Ganassi.
IndyCar - Houston: The Ganassi driver has survived his first lap on slicks. There is a clear dry line on the straight, but plenty of water lurking in the middle of the corners.

WRC - Poland: Ogier wins the superspecial, and brings his outright lead over Mikkelsen up to just over a minute at the end of Saturday too.
