Indianapolis 500: Montoya made an extra stop under caution to top up on fuel. He's last, but still on the lead lap. This could get interesting later.
Indianapolis 500: Restart waved off again.
Indianapolis 500: OK, we've seen it now. The field checked up; de Silvestro was caught by surprise and clipped Montoya's rear.
Indianapolis 500: That flapping bit of Montoya's car has fallen off. He's in the pits now having a new rear wing put on. Simultaneously, de Silvestro is having her front wing replaced. We still haven't seen the incident.
BES – Silverstone: WRT could end up with second and third positions here at the home of British motorsport. Ortelli is almost on the tail of Bonanomi as the race enters its final three minutes.

Indianapolis 500:Sage Karam: "I knew going into Turn 1 he [Sato] had a run. I didn;t think he was dumb enough to go around the outside. The guy needs to wake up a little bit."
Indianapolis 500: The restart has been waved off, and Montoya has been hit by something - his right-rear wheel-guard is flapping all over the place.
He and de Silvestro pit, and are waved through by their teams - if they stop, they'll incur a penalty for visiting a closed pit.

Indianapolis 500: Sato has been able to rejoin, and he and Mann will be moved to the rear on the restart for taking service in a closed pit.
Indianapolis 500:Scott Dixon leads from Will Power and Simon Pagenaud, and Justin Wilson has jumped from sixth to fourth.
We've had confirmation that Sage Karam has been checked at the medical centre and cleared.

Indianapolis 500: Pippa Mann suffered a cut tyre during all of that, and has pitted for a replacement.
Indianapolis 500: Karam was running in the middle of the track with Hunter-Reay to his inside. What he didn't know was that Takuma Sato had decided to try to pass him around the outside, and he made contact with the Foyt driver as he entered the corner. Sato was sandwiched against the wall pretty hard, and is in the pits undergoing repairs.
There's better news for Briscoe though: he was clipped by compatriot James Davison while they tried to avoid the mess ahead of them and was put into a spin, but he is now running again.

Crash
Indianapolis 500: And there has been contact in Turn 1. Sage Karam is in the wall, and Ryan Briscoe also appears to be out of the race.
Green flag
Indianapolis 500: Green flag!
Indianapolis 500: Tagliani is now on his way, but there are problems for Conor Daly, who has smoke pouring from the back of his car. Shame - he's a bright young talent, and his car had one of the best liveries in this year's field.
Indianapolis 500: Thirty-two cars head into Turn 1 behind Jeff Gordon's pace car to begin their installation lap. The one driver who hasn't joined them is Alex Tagliani, whose Foyt car is stuck on the grid.
BES - Silverstone: Vanthoor has passed fellow Audi driver for second, but that's as good as it is going to get for the mercurial Belgian. Estre is half a minute up the road in the McLaren.
Indianapolis 500: Mary Hulman-George gives the command to start engines.
Indianapolis 500: We're just a few minutes away from the command to start engines here in Indianapolis. There was a faint spray of rain earlier this morning, but all that appears to have cleared and it looks like we're set for a sunny Indy 500.
BES - Silverstone: The gap between Estre and Bonanomi is going up, but Vanthoor is almost with the ISR Audi in his WRT R8.
BES - Silverstone: The VonRyan McLaren team is on course for victory with its 650S shared by Bell, Van Gisbergen and Estre. Estre holds a 24s lead over Bonanomi's ISR Audi with 40 minutes of the three-hour race left to to run.

Latvala/Volkswagen/Rally Portugal
WRC - Portugal: Controversial stuff from Ogier after he finished the power stage.
"I know it will be a happy event for some people - some people will be happy because the best didn't win."
Andreas Mikkelsen chose to focus on the team and car: "A great result. My first event with the new car, and I must say, what a machine VW have built. Wow."

WRC - Portugal: Nasser Al-Attiyah held on to win WRC2, despite almost surrendering the lead to Esapekka Lappi in the new Skoda Fabia R5.
Lappi was only marginally quicker than Al-Attiyah on the power stage and the 2014 champion had enough in the tank to hold on.
Skoda will almost certainly be pleased with second and third on the debut of their new car.

WRC - Portugal: Latvala is obviously delighted with his win after a difficult start to 2015, Rally Portugal is his first win so far this year.
"It's a great feeling. After my last three rallies some people wondered if I would ever come back.
"It has been one of the most difficult periods of my rally career. For sure Seb was suffering [with his road position] and he did a good job but today we were equal and I focused.
"I respect this victory - it's payback for all those who believed in me."

WRC - Portugal: Meeke has finished the stage, his time of 6m50.4s is good enough for first on the stage overall, 0.2s quicker than Ostberg.
Nice improvement by Meeke in the final stint, although it probably won't be enough to overturn the 16s deficit to Mikkelsen.
"You can't win every weekend," says Meeke. "We tried this weekend, the car has been incredible, we got really close yesterday.
"We have some things to learn with tyre management."

WRC - Portugal: Mikkelsen is into the stage, with the rally leaders - Latvala and Ogier - up next. Ogier heads in first.
WRC - Portugal: Tanak manages third on the stage overall, behind Ostberg and Sordo.
WRC - Portugal: Tanak's split means the Estonian probably won't fight for the stage win here, and Meeke's first split is slower than Ostberg.
WRC - Portugal: Meeke is into our stage, and to overturn Mikkelsen for third he needs to beat the Norwegian by over 16s.
It's a big ask, even for the heroic Rally Argentina winner.

WRC - Portugal: Sordo holds on! He holds sixth by 4.3s after only dropping 0.7s to Ostberg on this stage.
WRC - Portugal: Now we wait for Sordo, who needs to finish less than 5s behind Ostberg on this stage to hold onto sixth overall.
Ostberg is asked at the stage end 'do you think that's enough,' to which he replies with a resounding no.
Meanwhile Tanak is into the stage.
