IndyCar - Baltimore: We're still under yellows as officials take advantage of the caution to sweep up some debris. The delay has worked out well for Carpenter, who made it back to the pits for repairs and is now back out on the track.
IndyCar - Baltimore: Ed Carpenter is in the tyres at Turn 9. Luca Filippi's race is over, too - another engine problem, judging from the smoke pouring from the rear of his car.
IndyCar - Baltimore: It sounds like Sato's problem is engine-related. His afternoon appears to be over.
IndyCar - Baltimore: Dario Franchitti's miserable weekend continues. He's already had three engine problems, and now he's stuck in the pits with brake dramas.

Takuma Sato is also in the pits with mechanical problems, and James Jakes has stopped out on the track.

Up at the front, Power leads Dixon by 1.5s, followed by Simon Pagenaud and Josef Newgarden.
WEC - Interlagos: Mucke is flying and coming back at Fisichella. The gap is down to 1.7s at the head of GTE Pro
WEC - Interlagos: Duval has lost the right rear at the end of the pitlane. Bizarrely, the wheel and tyre has landed on the rear deck and is being carried around back to the pits.
IndyCar - Baltimore: Tristan Vautier has been fined $10,000 and placed on probation until the end of the season for his involvement in yesterday's qualifying crash with Graham Rahal.
WEC - Interlagos: Treluyer did get a fresh set of Michelins. The big question is whether Duval will just stop for fuel and really open this race up.
IndyCar - Baltimore: Early problems for two of the title contenders. Helio Castroneves hit the rear of Josef Newgarden and is pitting for a new front wing; Ryan Hunter-Reay mysteriously lost drive and has fallen to 20th.
WEC - Interlagos: Treluyer pits from a 26s lead - this should be for diesel only.
IndyCar - Baltimore: Green flag, and Will Power passes Scott Dixon for the lead at the first corner.
IndyCar - Baltimore: The cars are on their installation laps. The green flag will be a special moment for Tony Kanaan, as it will mark is 212th consecutive start, making him the new holder of that particular record. The driver whose record is about to be broken? His team boss, Jimmy Vasser.
MotoGP - Silverstone: Post-race news still filtering in from Silverstone, where race winner Lorenzo admits he nearly gave up fighting for the win and home hero Crutchlow says the weekend's crashes took their toll in the event.
WEC - Interlagos: Duval is nibbling away at Treluyer's lead - it's down to 24s. Turner is doing likewise to Bruni's advantage in GTE Pro. That gap is down to just under five seconds.

ERC - Zlin: Jan Kopecky dominated his home event this weekend to take his fifth European Rally Championship win of the season.

The Czech was faultless through the first nine stages on the first leg before adopting a more cautious approach after an overnight downpour made today's stages rather tricky.

He now enjoys a 109-point advantage in the championship and, with four events remaining, it looks like the Skoda ace is on course for title glory.

Championship standings after eight of 12 rounds

1 Jan Kopecky 223
2 Craig Breen 114
3 Bryan Bouffier 99
4 Francois Delecour 75
5 Vaclav Pech 49
6 Jari Ketomaa 39

(25 points for rally win, up to seven bonus points awarded to the top seven drivers at the end of each leg)

WEC - Interlagos: The #1 car was slightly quicker in the pits, but the gap has gone up big time - Duval now trails Treluyer by half a minute.
WEC - Interlagos: Now it's Kristensen's turn to pit (three laps after Lotterer). Duval gets in.
WEC - Interlagos: Lotterer is about to pit; he's 17s up on Kristensen right now.
European RX - Loheac: Andreas Bakkerud claimed his second European RX win in succession at Loheac today. The Norwegian's recent success has promoted him to fourth in the points table, which currently looks like this:

Championship standings after seven of nine rounds

1 Timur Timerzyanov 143
2 Timmy Hansen 128
3 Davy Jeanney 123
4 Andreas Bakkerud 115
5 Anton Marklund 74
6 Alexander Hvaal 74

WEC - Interlagos: Fisichella pits out of the GTE Pro lead. He'd extended his lead over Mucke's Aston to six seconds by the time he had pitted.
WEC - Interlagos: Lotterer is slowly extending his advantage over Kristensen. The gap is now up to 13s.
Indy Lights - Baltimore: It's a great, easy win for Hawksworth, who comes home over 13 seconds ahead of Karam in second. It wasn't a classic...
Indy Lights - Baltimore: We've heard from Carlos Munoz about the crash that eliminated him from the race earlier on:

"I don't really know what happened. I just braked and needed the car just to stop for the wall. I'm not sure if the car broke or just snapped. You know, I had a great car even though the weekend qualifying yesterday was bad. I feel really bad right now. What can I say? We still have two races to go. Everyone in the championship is really close. I have to go racing these last two races. I have to go change my mentality and go for a win."
Indy Lights - Baltimore: Big crash for Serenelli as he goes head first into the tyres. No yellow and Hawksworth proceeds onto the final lap.
WEC - Interlagos: Kristensen pits, too, and the positions flip back.
WEC - Interlagos: Mucke is all over Fisichella for the lead of GTE Pro.
Jack Hawksworth

Jack Hawksworth

Indy Lights - Baltimore: Hawksworth is running away with this one. Karam has broken free in second and there's really not a lot else happening.
WEC - Interlagos: We're two hours in, and Lotterer leads Kristensen by four seconds. Conway leads P2 for G-Drive and Fisichella GTE Pro for AF Corse.
Indy Lights - Baltimore: We're finally racing. Hawksworth is taking full advantage of a great three-car fight between Karam, Chaves and Dempsey for second and is clearing off out front.
WEC - Interlagos: Safety car in, Lotterer crosses the line nearly four seconds up on Kristensen.
Auto GP - Donington: "I saw Campana coming out of the pits," said van Buuren. "He was on cold tyres and looked to be really fighting the car. First of all he braked early and blocked me a bit, and then I went for a pass [at the Old Hairpin] but he just locked up and ran off the road."

Van Buuren's second position this afternoon is his first podium of the season.
Indy Lights - Baltimore: We had four corners of racing and then Carlos Munoz hits the wall. Big blow to his title chances. Hawksworth still leads.
WEC - Interlagos: The safety car is out again as the fire crew pump extinguisher fluid onto the burning Ferrari.
WEC - Interlagos: Vilander's AF Corse Ferrari catches fire. The Finn pulls over and throws himself out of the car. Good job, because the car is still burning.
Indy Lights - Baltimore: We're under yellow in the Lights race after newcomer Dalton Kellett crashed on the opening lap. Jack Hawksworth leads from the fast-starting Sage Karam.
Auto GP - Donington: Here are the provisional top-four positions in the Auto GP drivers' standings after the penultimate round of the season at Donington:

1 Ghirelli, 191; 2 Sato, 180; 3 Campana 174; 4 Karthikeyan 170.

All four drivers remain in title contention, as there is a potential maximum score of 48 points available at the season finale at Brno in October.
WEC - Interlagos: Lotterer and Kristensen are trading fastest laps. But then it is serious - there's a world championship at stake.
