ERC - Zlin: Jiri Vrkoslav currently leads the superspecial as AUTOSPORT Race Centre Live clocks off for the night.
Checkered flag
WEC - Interlagos: It's Audi, Audi, Toyota at the top of the times of FP, Kristensen's 1m21.904s leaving him two tenths clear of Lotterer. Buemi improves in the Toyota near the end, but is still seven tenths off.
NASCAR - Atlanta: Just over a quarter of an hour to go in Friday practice at Atlanta and it's still Brad Keselowski fastest ahead of Carl Edwards and Kurt Busch.
WEC - Interlagos: Lotterer improves the #1 Audi's best time to a 1m22.056s, less than two tenths behind Kristensen's session-topping mark.
Breaking news
IndyCar - Baltimore: Here's the full story of and complete results from Friday afternoon practice in Baltimore, including some spills and a surprise pacesetter.

Crash
NASCAR - Atlanta: Our first interruption of the day as JJ Yeley slaps the wall and brings out a caution.
ERC - Zlin: As well as following the stages unfold as they happen on Race Centre Live and reading the news reports, you can also watch video highlights from the European Rally Championship on our rallying page.
WEC - Interlagos: Audi is on top in FP2. Kristensen is fastest on a 1m21.904s, with Fassler half a second behind in second. Mind you, Davidson's first session best for Toyota is still the fastest time of the day. So far.

Kurt Busch and Gene Haas
NASCAR - Atlanta: Speaking of Kurt Busch, he was confirmed as a Stewart-Haas driver for 2014 earlier this week.
That means the team is expanding to four cars... something co-owner Tony Stewart had said wouldn't happen as early as next year.
But with Stewart out of action with a broken leg, it seems his partner Gene Haas decided not to hang around...
Ryan Newman, the man ditched by Stewart-Haas to make way for its other 2014 newcomer Kevin Harvick, has described the situation as "humourous".
Stopwatch
NASCAR - Atlanta: This is a big weekend for champion Brad Keselowski with his Chase position not guaranteed and only two races till the cut-off, but he's made a promising start by blasting straight to the top in practice.
Carl Edwards and Kurt Busch are next up.

Checkered flag
IndyCar - Baltimore: Will Power is in the tyres at Turn 9, and that will be the end of the session. Tristan Vautier finishes the session on top.
ERC - Zlin: Huge crowds have been lining the street stage since lunchtime. Crews tackle three laps of the course in reverse order and at intervals of one minute.
The route is a mixture of fast sweeps, cobbled streets, elevated sections, chicanes – there's even a railway crossing and a trip through a bus station to negotiate.

Green flag
IndyCar - Baltimore: Two minutes on the clock.
IndyCar - Baltimore: It was indeed Justin Wilson, and the spin happened at Turn 3.

Ekaterina Stratieva
ERC - Zlin: ERC Ladies' Trophy leader Ekaterina Stratieva is currently in a race against time to make the start of the event. She's trying to get parts hurried from service 10 kilometres away to repair a steering problem on her Citroen.
Here's Stratieva and co-driver Veronica Boni earlier today with some of their fans. Fans who believe Stratieva and Boni are pirates.
Red flag
IndyCar - Baltimore: Looked up just in time to see that someone - we think Justin Wilson - had spun. All cars are back in the pits now, so no harm done. Just under five minutes left, and Vautier remains on top.
IndyCar - Baltimore: That's how you do it, Hinch. Saavedra hits the tyres in the middle of the chicane, then plows on and demolishes the tyre stack at the exit. Not surprisingly, the Colombian is in the pits having a new front wing put on.
ERC - Zlin: The European Rally Championship's Czech round is due to start shortly with an evening superspecial through the streets of host town Zlin.
Ninety crews are entered, but all eyes are on the factory Skoda trio at the front: Jan Kopecky, Esapekka Lappi and Sepp Wiegand, plus ex-factory WRC driver Roman Kresta in his own Fabia.

IndyCar - Baltimore: Lucky escape for James Hinchcliffe, who hit the tyres inside the entry to the chicane hard enough to dislodge them and flick the left-front side of his car skyward, yet amazingly appears to have escaped damage.
Vautier is still P1 with just under 10 minutes left.

Green flag
NASCAR - Atlanta: The fact that the EGR press conference was scheduled for 25 minutes before Cup practice started was probably a giveaway that it wasn't a current Cup driver being announced, wasn't it?
Cars are hitting the track at Atlanta now for an hour and a half to sort their qualifying set-ups before tonight's pole fight.
There are then two more practice sessions on Saturday before the race at 7.30pm local time on Sunday.

IndyCar - Baltimore: Rookie Tristan Vautier replaces Graham Rahal at the top.
IndyCar - Baltimore: Graham Rahal goes to P1. When was the last time that happened? We mean that in a nice way: Rahal is a solid driver, but he has not had a glorious season up to this point.
IndyCar - Baltimore: All cars have now completed at least an installation lap, and Newgarden is still the benchmark with 24 minutes remaining.
Breaking news

Kyle Larson
NASCAR - Atlanta: Here's the full story of Kyle Larson's promotion to what was Juan Pablo Montoya's NASCAR drive.
Earnhardt Ganassi picks Larson as Montoya replacement
Green flag
IndyCar - Baltimore: OK, we see what the problem was. There was contact in the chicane that resulted in a bit of Oriol Servia's wing being left in the middle of the track. Anyway, it has been cleaned up and the cars are heading back out.
Red flag
IndyCar - Baltimore: I was just about to tell you about Josef Newgarden moving to the top, but instead I have to tell you about a red flag for a track inspection. There's just over 30 minutes to go, and a few guys still haven't been onto the track yet. That list includes Scott Dixon and Will Power.
Green flag
IndyCar - Baltimore: I nearly wrote 'Sonoma' instead of 'Baltimore' there. Force of habit. Anyway, second practice has started, with Tony Kanaan again setting the early pace.
Breaking news
NASCAR - Atlanta: Early bit of news from the NASCAR Sprint Cup weekend as Kyle Larson is introduced as Juan Pablo Montoya's replacement at Earnhardt Ganassi Racing.
Welcome back to AUTOSPORT Race Centre Live for an evening (if you're in Europe) of IndyCar practice from Baltimore, World Endurance Championship practice from Interlagos, European Rally Championship action from the Czech Republic and a bit of NASCAR news from Atlanta.
Checkered flag
WEC - Interlagos: OAK leads the way in P2, Pla just over a tenth up on team-mate Plowman. Turner is quickest for Aston in GTE Pro with a time six tenths up on Lieb in the Porsche.
Checkered flag
WEC - Interlagos: Toyota ends up quickest with a 1m21.881s for Davidson. That's eight tenths up on the best Audi time set by Fassler. That begs the question, is Toyota back in the game?
We'll keep filtering all the news from the world's paddocks into Race Centre Live, but our next session updates are a few hours away yet, with second Baltimore IndyCar and Interlagos WEC practice beginning around 7.30pm BST.
We'll have coverage of the start of the European Rally Championship's Czech round too.

Will Power
IndyCar - Baltimore: Here's the full story and results list from the weekend's opening IndyCar session.
Baltimore IndyCar practice one report
WEC - Interlagos: Davidson goes quickest with a 1m22.110s. The significance there is that it's a couple of tenths faster than Wurz's pole time for Toyota last year.
Checkered flag
Moto2 - Silverstone: Here's the day's final order as practice two comes to an end.
1 Zarco; 2 Nakagami; 3 Luthi; 4 Rabat; 5 Redding; 6 Espargaro; 7 Torres; 8 Kent; 9 Aegerter; 10 Simeon.

Checkered flag
IndyCar - Baltimore: Actually, we lied. Another lag with the internet prevented us from seeing that Will Power was still on the track, and he claimed the top spot right at the end. If this internet doesn't get sorted out, it's going to be an annoying weekend.
Indycar - Baltimore: A bit has happened over the past 15 minutes, but an internet outage prevented us from telling you about it. In short: the session is about to end, and Dixon is P1.
Moto2 - Silverstone: It's now a Pons one-two at the top as Espargaro leads Rabat.
A reminder that Rabat is in a curious situation: he should be helping team-mate Espargaro's title bid right now, but his relationship with the rest of his current garage is not spectacular. So he's leaving at the end of the year... to replace Scott Redding at Marc VDS...
Redding is seventh at present.

Interlagos
WEC - Interlagos: Here are McNish, Kristensen and Duval reminding themselves which way the circuit goes last night.
