IndyCar - Baltimore: James Jakes has some extra work to do in qualifying after being issued a 10-place grid penalty for having his sixth engine of the year installed. The maximum engine allocation for each entry is five for the season.
ERC - Zlin: Another stage in which Pech is beaten to second place. Kresta is 0.4s quicker, but that's hardly going to influence their "battle" for second, as the gap stands at 24.2s.

Meanwhile, Tarabus has just filtered through 3.7s slower than Kopecky in fourth. He closes to just 11.9s behind fourth-placed Wiegand overall, the Skoda driver struggling to sixth on the stage at present.
Moto2 - Silverstone: Absolutely breathless stuff from the MotoGP field - and no sooner have we wrapped up than we're straight into Moto2, where Scott Redding carries the lion's share of home hopes.

The Briton has been in good touch so far, going first, fifth and second in the respective practice sessions.
WEC - Interlagos: Audi has now eclipsed Toyota's best of the Brazilian weekend so far. McNish has got down to a 1m21.868s and Treluyer a 21.814s. The two R18s top FP3, but Buemi isn't far behind in the TS030 on a 21.950s.
WEC - Interlagos: Fassler improves the time for the #1 Audi - first to a 1m21.7s and then to a 21.292s to go fastest.
Moto2 - Silverstone: Talk about picking up where we left off...

Nakagami fires in a 2m07.200s, already a new pole record in Moto2. Rabat is on course to beat it too, only for his lap to fall away in the final sectors. Nakagami is currently 0.8s clear.
ERC - Zlin - SS7 results:

Stage: 1 Kopecky; 2 Kresta +2.2s; 3 Pech +2.6s; 4 Tarabus +3.7s; 5 Lappi +4.2s.

Overall: 1 Kopecky; 2 Pech +29.4s; 3 Kresta +53.6s; 4 Wiegand +1m30.4s; 5 Tarabus +1m42.3s.

MotoGP - Silverstone: Here, by the way, is how the sensational Marc Marquez came out on top after a mega battle for pole position with Jorge Lorenzo.

Marquez beats Lorenzo to pole in Britain
IndyCar - Baltimore: Third practice was rather shunt-filled, but through it came Simon Pagenaud to set the benchmark time. Read the report here.
European RX - Loheac: First heats done, Timmy Hansen beats Petter Solberg, while Kris Meeke just gets beaten to the flag by Liam Doran. Sebastien Loeb finishes fourth in his heat race.

Top six looks like this: 1 Hansen; 2 F Pailler; 3 Solberg; 4 Doran; 5 Timerzyanov; 6 Meeke.

Loeb lies 16th after heat one.
Moto2 - Silverstone: Here comes Espargaro. He's up in the first two sectors, loses fractions in the third...but his lap gets away from him badly in the final sector and he ends 0.8s down. A big moment through Luffield really hurt him.
Moto2 - Silverstone: Danny Kent is down through Farm, and he's limping away. Flames briefly lick his bike too. He was sixth coming into qualifying, but he's down in 21st and could be facing an early exit here.
WEC - Interlagos: The chequered flag is already out, but Davidson stops the clock at a 1m21.452s to split the Audis. Fassler is fastest on a 1m21.292s and Kristensen third on a 1m21.501s set five minutes from the end.
Moto2 - Silverstone: Another strong start to a lap trails off over the final splits for Espargaro, although he is able to improve to third - crucially ahead of Redding.

That doesn't last long however, as the Briton jumps into second with a 2m07.699s. Espargaro is still half a second clear at the front, but second through to eighth are covered by just over 0.2s.
Moto2 - Silverstone: Into the final 20 minutes, and the order has changed again: Nakagami still seems untouchable, but behind him its now Espargaro, Redding, Rabat, Aegerter, Pasini and Kallio.

MotoGP - Silverstone: Here's Marquez's thoughts after that epic qualifying session.

"If I’m honest, I didn’t expect that laptime, especially with the first time. I had many slides and I was pushing 100 per cent, [and the] lap time was so good. Then I thought it was maybe 0.1s faster, but immediately 0.5s.

"Second lap I say I will not push more, I already did a good time. Tomorrow, [it will be] interesting to see the race. Both rear tyres are working quite well, so it will be interesting to see which one [is used]."
Moto2 - Silverstone: Nakagami is, it turns out, touchable. Rabat hits the front on a 2m07.184s. Espargaro occupies the final front row spot, 0.013s behind Nakagami and just 0.029s off provisional pole after a personal best.

Redding's in the pits after his own best effort of the session. He lies fourth.
Auto GP - Donington: Championship leader Kimiya Sato told AUTOSPORT that this weekend is "probably the most important of the year" for him.

Sato, who has a 13 point lead in the drivers' standings, believes he is not yet in position to play for safety during Donington's two races on Sunday.
Moto2 - Silverstone: We have a feeling this will change hands again in the five-or-so minutes that remain.

Nakagami is back in front for now, 0.145s ahead on a 2m07.039s. Can anyone break the 2m07s barrier? Zarco pops up into fourth, while Redding improves time and not position. But this lap's even more impressive...
Moto2 - Silverstone: Redding misses out on provisional pole for now, but he has hauled his Marc VDS bike up into second. 2m07.166s, 0.127s slower than Nakagami who is in the pits.

Auto GP - Donington: "I don't know Brno [venue of the Auto GP season finale] so this weekend I really need to extend my points lead," said Sato.

"A 13 point lead in the standings isn't enough [to relax], when someone could potentially score 25 points here."

Sato finished sixth in Saturday morning's free practice session, and admits there is room for improvement ahead of qualifying.

"I hope we have got a good direction now for qualifying, but we're still hoping to find a few more tenths."
Moto2 - Silverstone: Redding edged closer and closer, but has fallen short by 0.039s, so it's pole for Nakagami. A storming final effort will see Zarco occupy the outside of the front row.

Espargaro, meanwhile, was unable to complete his fastest-looking flier. He's down in sixth!
Moto2 - Silverstone - qualifying: 1 Nakagami; 2 Redding; 3 Zarco; 4 Rabat; 5 Luthi; 6 Espargaro; 7 Kallio; 8 Aegerter; 9 Simeon; 10 Torres.
Auto GP - Donington: After dominating free practice, former Grand Prix driver Narain Karthikeyan believes he will not enjoy such a large advantage in qualifying this afternoon.

"I think qualifying will be closer," said Karthikeyan. "It's still looking good for us, but I am expecting to be around two tenths faster than the others rather than over half a second. Perhaps the others were 'sandbagging' this morning."
Indy Lights - Baltimore: The 11 Indy Lights cars hit the track for qualifying. Brit Jack Hawksworth has set the pace in free practice, so is favourite for the pole.
Auto GP - Donington: Karthikeyan was pleased to get back into the groove at Donington, having last raced at the venue in British F3 with Paul Stewart Racing in 2000.

"I was surprised how quickly it came back, as I haven't raced here since 2000," said Karthikeyan. "We have a very good car in the dry, and I have three sets of new tyres for qualifying, so I just hope the rain doesn't arrive for qualifying."
Indy Lights - Baltimore: The session was stopped for a short period of time after Gabby Chaves spun. Hawksworth is at the top of the times, a long way clear of Sage Karam.

Moto2 - Silverstone: Redding is well-placed to try and halt Pol Espargaro's so far unrelenting progress into his points lead. What was 43 points has come down to 21 in recent races.

Here's how the standings look ahead of tomorrow's race, for which Redding will line up second, and Espargaro sixth.

Championship standings after 10 of 17 rounds:

1 Scott Redding 167
2 Pol Espargaro 146
3 Esteve Rabat 122
4 Mika Kallio 115
5 Dominique Agerter 97
6 Johann Zarco 86

(25 points for a win)

Indy Lights - Baltimore: Following a lengthy stoppage after Giancarlo Serenelli crashed, we're back underway. Sage Karam managed to take the top spot in the short gap between stoppages.
Auto GP - Donington: Qualifying is go. Max Snegirev, who suffered a heavy shunt in free practice and damaged his gearbox, led the field out of the assembly area. The Russian's machine appears to be fully repaired.
Auto GP - Donington: Oil has been deposited in the support races at the Old Hairpin and Melbourne loop hairpin.

The preceding Legends race was stopped owing to several skirmishes, perhaps caused by the tricky track conditions.
Indy Lights - Baltimore: With 10 minutes to go, Hawksworth is on provisional pole, just 0.03s ahead of Chaves. Munoz is just 0.06s further back in third.
Auto GP - Donington: Narain Karthikeyan is fastest on 1m19.679s, 0.326s up on Kevin Giovesi.

There is gravel on the track at Coppice after two excursions by Sergio Campana and Giovesi.
Auto GP - Donington: Michele La Rosa has stopped on the inside of Coppice, bringing out the red flags. There are 17 minutes of the half-hour session to run.
Auto GP - Donington: We're back in business. Vittorio Ghirelli is fastest on 1m18.448s, 0.162s quicker than Super Nova team-mate Narain Karthikeyan.

Sergio Campana is third, ahead of championship rival Kimiya Sato. Impressive newcomer Kevin Giovesi is fifth and GP2 driver Daniel de Jong completes the top-six.
Indy Lights - Baltimore: It's all over and Hawksworth is on pole. Munoz improved to second, while Chaves dropped to third.

IndyCar - Baltimore: As its feeder series wraps up its qualifying session, remember Baltimore could prove a crucial moment in the fight for the IndyCar title.

Helio Castroneves, who toiled in practice while title rival Scott Dixon was second behind pacesetter Simon Pagenaud, is on the brink of his maiden title, which would be his Penske team's first since 2006.

AUTOSPORT editor-in-chief Andrew van de Burgt caught up with the points leader, and his team-mate Will Power.

Penske poised to end title drought
IndyCar - Baltimore: This is the pleasant sight of the points table Castroneves and the Penske boys have to look at. Dixon will be hoping the Brazilian slips up this weekend, particularly after the New Zealander's disastrous time at Sonoma, which was controversially won by...Penske's Will Power.

Championship standings after 15 of 19 rounds:
1 Helio Castroneves 479
2 Scott Dixon 440
3 Ryan Hunter-Reay 417
4 Marco Andretti 409
5 Simon Pagenaud 380
6 Dario Franchitti 379
